HTC battery thread

Seidio battery quality will beat any other off brand of battery any day of the week. As for the OP, definitely follow Seidio's instructions to optimize the battery, it will help you out down the road.

so if I pick up myself the 1750mah battery, i can still use hard case I have right?

Yes. The Seidio Online 1750 battery fits within the stock back cover.

also, where do you fellas recommend I pick up the cheapest possible 1750 battery?

I don't know about cheapest. Here's the thing: when I buy a battery, I want to buy quality; I want to know that it's not going to explode in my pocket. You may find a battery on eBay or something, but, based on my experience with the 1750 battery from Seidio Online, you should be pleased with it, should you choose to buy it.

Thanks guys! you can still use whatever case you have now. Its at 17% right now, unplugged at 7:30 this am. Been using it pretty heavy to kill it. Hope to see some good results in a few days. As far as a hard case..chack out the otterbox cummuter case, its pretty nice

cool thanks for the help man! but about the cover, I meant a case that goes around the phone

i got not only the 1750mAh battery from seidio, but also their innocase II and it fits with no problem since the battery fits flush beneath the back cover.

Hello,

That is correct, our 1750mAh will fit in the original battery compartment to give you extra power without needing a different battery door!

seidio isn't just towing their marketing line. i have one and it fits perfectly. it only adds a tad more heft, and i am completely satisfied.

Sounds perfect for me. I know I have been saying that my battery can last over 1 day, but thats because I lightly use the phone. I find that when I actually use it to pass time or look something up, it will sometimes even die before the day is over.

on day 3..Not seeing much of an improvement yet..still holding out hope

Memory for the 1750?

Hey the stock battery states that it does not use memory on the battery so you can recharge it at any given time even if the battery is almost full, but what about the 1750mah extended battery can you do that too, or does it have memory and you can only plug it in after its dead?

I recharge my 1750 as if it was any cell phone battery I have ever used - just plug it in when I want to charge it, no matter what the charge condition.

Well after a week the battery seems to be doing exactly what I wanted. I can easily get a day and a half at least, zand dont have to worry about always shutting off the so called battery killers. GPS, and mobile network were the mains for me. Well worth my 50 bucks.

It was worth it for me also. With the stock battery and moderate use I'd get to the 25% yellow zone of the gauge by the end of the day, and with the 1750 it is still around 50%.

I just got my Eris this weekend and love it. The battery life isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm still having to hook it up to the charger before the day ends though. I think my next purchase may be this battery. Glad to hear good reports on it!

Well I unplugged about 730 am listen to pandora for about 4hrs, sent and received about 30 texts, had network and gps on, no wifi at work. At 5pm I have 21% battery left, I have no task killers
