I have the HTC EVO 4G LTE,and I love it. But compared to my Nexus 7 and its stock Jelly Bean/Android goodness, HTC Sense is a frustrating fight with crashes and restarts. Now I know why Nexus devices get so much love. Lesson learned and learned well. I cannot find a flaw with my 7; it is a wonderful beast.

I love my n7 as well. Runs great, looks great, feels great, everyone looks at me while im using it at panara bread. Only thing is i read that adobe Wont bE supported on android above 4.0. Im not too tech savy, but is there anything that can be done?

I am totally impressed as well, I was rolling with a nook color (running cm7) and this thing BLOWS IT AWAY!

I have experienced no lagginess on Chrome at all, or any issues reading any PDFs. I suspect the post about such issues is more a function of the PDF software used than the tablet itself. I use RepliGo reader which works beautifully.

With regards to Sense, I strongly suspect the freezes and such were Android itself and not Sense - I have used Sense for years with zero issues. Remember that Jelly Bean's Project Butter component is specifically aimed at these types of issues.

I think alot of it has to do with Jelly Bean. I've had it on my Xoom for a couple weeks and the smoothness and UI refinements are very nice with zero lag on this aging device. And Jelly bean on 10 inches @160 dpi is beatiful.

And its a Nexus with an unlockable bootloader, so unlock it!

fastboot oem unlock

Thats it.

There will be custom kernels that will allow for USB otg host. So you can stick a usb stick or card reader into the micro usb (via otg host cable $5 on eBay) to stream movies or music. It can alleviate issues for those that don't want to move to the cloud.

I'm loving mine as well :D going to work is the worst because I have to leave my new baby behind.

You guys crying about not having enough storage haven't thought it through.

A short male micro USB to female USB cable is less than $5 on amazon and a fast 32 gig USB stick is $25. Root, install Stickmount, get some sticky back velcro tabs, a decent cover, use the velco to attach the USB stick inside the cover, hook up the cable and you've got the best 40 GB tablet on the market for roughly $250 for all of it.

I signed up so I could throw my two cents in. I'm very pleased with my N7. I am getting terrific battery life, the user interface is easily as good as iOS (if not better) and getting two updates in the first two days of owning the tablet speaks volumes about how serious Google is when it comes to supporting the Nexus device(s). Color me impressed.

The Transformers movie along with the other free media (magazines, music, etc.) and toss $25 worth of Play Store credit on top of that is just icing on the cake. Somebody did their marketing homework. Get the slight QC and supply chain issues sorted out and Apple's in trouble...

I have had mine since last Friday and love it. My 7 year old son, who is autistic, enjoys it more than I do. We have already spent hours together exploring the Nexus 7. He really loves those Cut The Rope games.

I have the first Nook Color and used the heck out of it until I got the Asus Transformer. I thought that was a good experience until they put ICS on there and now it is very unstable.

So with this purchase, I am very pleased with the performance and handling of my N7 and JB. I use this thing for everything now and paired with my Galaxy nexus, I am good to go!

I'm an iPad2/iPhone4S user and my Nexus 7 blows my iPad2 out of the water. I love the form factor, the light weight, the awesome screen, and the fluid speed. This is a killer tablet. On top of that, Jelly Bean is incredible. I can't believe I was using iOS all these years. It is night and day. Google Now is AMAZING while I couldn't even get Siri for my iPad2. I'm completely sold on the Nexus brand so much so that I just ordered a Galaxy Nexus from Google Play. Kudos to Google.

I love my Nexus 7. 3 weeks ago I was using an iPhone 4S and new iPad... today I'm happily rocking my HTC One X and Nexus 7. Love all (ok, most) technology and Android has come so far, I love it and love using it. :)

I'm rocking this and a Galaxy s3..coming from an iPhone but still have my iPad

That was my dream android combo man! Congrats. I'm still waiting for mine here in Canada. :p

So you've done this? Can you post pics, it doesn't seem like it would be very elegant solution unless they are making extremely small USB sticks and cable. I don't want this huge lump on my slim tablet. Thx

It's 2am and I'm using my iPod to type this because I'm scared to pick up my N7, I know I won't put it down and sleep LOL.

I sold my Playbook which I did enjoy, while traveling through Mexico the last few months. I had seller's remorse until I saw the announcement for the N 7.

I miss my back beautiful camera on the Playbook , but I can honestly say I love this N7 more.

It's whispering to me now, so I'm going to bed so I don't have that zombie look in the morning.

P.S. I was debating about giving up my BB phone for either iPhone or an Android phone , debate over Nexus here I come.
