If I do get the iPhone 8 or Red 7 do you guys think I should get a refund on my honor 8? I just don't see myself rotating if I have an iPhone bc I like IOS so much. However I do like the honor 8. I'm not sure what I'll do. If I return it that will give an extra $200 so I can order accessories for the iPhone. I don't know.

Why do you like iOS so much? I find it so restrictive and boring. File management on iOS is impossible.

Oh I love it. It's far more smooth and fluid than Android any day. I guess that would be my major reason for liking it so much. It's another reason why I like EMUI bc it comes close to IOS in terms of how smooth the interface is. Yes Apple definitely restricts you in certain areas and is not customizable but then again it's really all I've ever known as I used it exclusively for many years once I finally broke my blackberry addiction. Since then it's only been Apple so that's my software of choice overall. I know it's not for everyone which is why we have a variety of Android products. The only one I found that I liked the best was the honor 8 and EMUI but only because it's so smooth no lag and fluid unlike a lot of other Android phones out there. The other Android phone I'd consider using in addition to the honor 8 is the Nexus 6p or the pixel which both phones are identical anyway as they have no skin on top of Android which I find to run very smooth and fluid when there is not a heavy skin involved. Overall I'm just used to IOS so it's my overall first choice for phones and tablets. I'm not saying Android is bad in any way rather it's just what I prefer. Android is great too and I'm not opposed to using Android at all but given the choice I'd choose IOS which yes is very straight forward without custom abilities but I guess it's all in what you are used to using which I happen to use Apple only for a long time and I'm most comfortable with it. They definitely do make smaller screens which I like Android better in that regard. The iPhone 8 that I'll be getting if I do get it will have the same 4.7 inch display which was what I used with the iPhone 6 and 6s. I'm curious now though if I'll find it to be too small for me now that I've used Android for over a year. That part I'm unsure of and I've never been a fan of the iPhone plus models at all. Not once have I ever owned a iPhone plus and I won't either. Just don't like them. The iPhone 10 with the larger screen is what I really want but they are back ordered until December which is a long time to wait on a phone. I want it but not enough to wait almost two months on it like lots of Apple people are. So I like both sides but prefer Apple.

I have the Pixel 2. You'd really like it considering what you look for in a phone. It's a smaller form factor that fits great in the hand. Battery life is awesome and it is so incredible smooth and fluid. It's basically the best of Android and iOS combined.

But dconn likes emui so he might not like a stock Google phone

If you want the iPhone 10, I would just wait. Otherwise get an iPhone 8 now and you would have to deal with selling it and most likely loosing money down the line

Just think about returning... Return too much and they might ban you... Especially since this is because you changed your mind... And not the first time either.

To be fair, all my friends and families who owned an iphone has issues, lags, double typing, horrible battery life etc... the list goes on. Every single one of them had issues. Just to point out, no phone is perfect. They'll have problems

Yup, dconn is the biggest emui fan out there
Yes I am that lol. I do like it a lot. It's just so different and unique. I think they have done a great job optimizing it to fit on top of Android all together. Not once have I ever experienced any lag with EMUI and it's very smooth and fluid too. Yeah I'm a huge fan of it. You're definitely right lol.

Haha jk other wrong being a huge fan of it. I like it too. Especially emui 5

I'm partial to 4.1 as it was the most different than Android than compared to all these latest updates we're they have made the software appear to look like more stock Android which if they continue down that path I'll stop using Huawei honor and completely go back to Apple. I use EMUI bc of how different it is. If they just continue to keep changing it just because the Android die hards complain then I won't stay around. They created a very good experience in 4.1 but what I don't get is rather than complain about it being vastly different then why would you use it or buy it. Only if you are just going to cry bc it's not stock Android simply buy a stock Android phone. Even the professional reviews on placed a negative to EMUI which I totally think is bad professionally. Why not just call it different than that of Android instead of saying it's an inferior software that will annoy you. That's exactly why honor has made EMUI more stock Android like with each major update due to heavy complaints. I say to those who complained to go find another phone rather than downgrade this software. There are plenty of other ones to choose from. Just bc something is different does not mean it's bad. Not everything has to look like stock Android bc stock Android isn't the best software out there. There are choices. So honor caved in to the critics and has been changing EMUI to look stock Android ever since 4.1 was finished. That's too bad too. Look for 5.1 to even be more stock Android. Slowly they are going to loose me I can tell.

Yeah that is true. IPhones have problems like every other phone

Oh it most definitely is. Glad that you had such a good experience with it

Oh that sucks. Well at least on the honor 8, you can go back to emui 4.1

Some people think iPhones are perfect and don't ever lag. That is hugely wrong
They are definitely optimized better. More efficient. They use way way less ram on all their devices and achieve more power than Android. Just like the iPhone 8 only uses 2gs of ram and it's way faster on paper than the 835 which is being pushed by at least double and triple the ram. So if an iPhone lags I've personally never experienced it. It has to be very seldom to non existent if they have any lag. IOS is the smoothest interface on the planet. I'm not downing Android but they are definitely behind when it comes to software and ram management.

The lag and glitches are really horrible. My friends had to reset the phone everytime in happens. Iphone is more optimized but still faces issues. I really do mean every single one of my friends and families had probs with them
