My apologies. I should have searched for the term on AC, instead of Google, Wikipedia, etc. Realizing my mistake I attempted to delete the post shortly after posting, but to no avail.
The NexusNexus 6 is the reason I'm not getting the Nexus 6p. That phone was a real nightmare. First off, actually buying the thing was impossible for the first few months (good job google).
Second, within an hour of buying it I was regretting the purchase. Stuttering, lag, missed touches were my experience out of the box.
Third, despite what the reviews said that camera was bad. Really slow to focus. Even slower to release the shutter. Just bad. Macro, anything closer than about 18 inches or so, was impossible to focus on.
IMO, Nexii has a really strong reality distortion field. At least in the past they were cheap so it makes the shortcomings a lot easier to accept. With prices being the way they are I'd rather spend the extra money and get something more polished and just all around better.
Yeah! and would add that Samsung devices lose their worth (depreciate) very fast, so unless you plan to use until it breaks or becomes obsolete, steer clear of Sammy. Love the Nexus 6 so hope the 6P is a worthy upgrade.
Not uncommon iPhone and Galaxy junk hold their value the bestI'm either disappointed or misinformed. I purchased my 64gb Nexus 6 last October for $750 including tax. I kept mine in a case with a screen protector so it's in mint condition. Used mint condition ones are selling for $300 on Swappa. Is this typical for a phone to lose over half it's value in a year?
After seeing the release I instantly thought..... "I am 100% getting this device". However I do now have a couple of concerns. Unless I have misinformed the device only comes with a one year warranty..... surely if they believe in the quality of the device they would of offered two years warranty like other companies who produce flagship devices. This coupled with the fact that it has a processor which has a reputation of over heating and whilst many people have tried to state that the issues with the processor are no longer there.... we won't know until we have actually put the phone through its paces. My nexus 7 2013 which I bought last year has had to go for repair twice under its one year warranty.... which doesn't give me much faith in the hardware of nexus devices.
My predicament is that my current handset has had a smashed screen for the past three months and I desperately need a new device. Any advice?

I'm actually on the fence and trying to get someone to talk me into it. I can barely see anything on my S4 the screen is that badly smashed.

A little off topic, but you know you can probably replace the glass yourself for your S4 for around $10.I'm actually on the fence and trying to get someone to talk me into it. I can barely see anything on my S4 the screen is that badly smashed.
