Re: [Instruction] How to Keep Unlimited Data on Verizon
Sorry to keep beating a dead horse here, but i failed in my reading to see the new method of just changing the SIM.
Where im at now is I attempted the original method of purchasing a new phone on a transferred UDP upgrade to a dumb phone line. I received the new phone and activated it on the dumb phone line as originally described. De-activated it by reactivating the old dumb phone to that line..All is good so far. Now trying to activate the new phone to my UDP unlimited line i get a message.
"Your request cannot be completed
Our records indicate you recently purchased a device for this MDN but have not activated it yet. You have the option to proceed after you have activated your new device, or you may contact Customer Service at (800) 922-0204 for further assistance."
Clear as mud?
Any ideas on what my next step should be?
Thanks! sorry if this has already been covered in forum
Either way will work. But it is less steps but the first method is less steps. Order it on Line 1 and when the new phone comes put the SIM from your existing Line 2 and put it in the new phone and your done. The contract will be extended by 2 years on Line 1 and you'll have a new phone and preserved UDP on your Line 2.
