Re: [Instruction] How to Keep Unlimited Data on Verizon
1) Is my only option to cut down the micro sim to nano sim and get a micro sim adapter for nano sim? or is there a way to get Verizon micro and nano sims and replace the existing SIMs? I could not find such product in their site at all.
2) If I cut/use adapter ..., I believe my account will still show original phones against the numbers. Will that be a problem? And will I be able to transfer upgrade in future, even if Verizon has out of date info?
Thanks.
I got the new phone and activated the new data line. When I tried to switch devices online, I got the message that "The SIM cards associated with the two devices you requested to switch services between are incompatible.".1) Activate the new phone on line 2.
2) Since you are not using the unlimited upgrade, you are not in danger of losing it. You can swap the phones online, by swapping SIM cards or by going into a store. I would swap the online because the SIM card are different sizes. Better yet get some sim adapters so you swap phones in the future.
3) yes, should be able to do it as soon as the pending order is off line 2. This should happen as soon as the new phone is activated. If you get the SIM cards to be the same size when you do step one it will be really easy.
