Even with phone payment plan, you still get hit with the $20 fee....the only thing that keeps the $20 fee off is still being under contract....

So does the Best Buy method and sell phone work?

When I try to upgrade via Best Buy it tells me I have to return my current phone to the carrier. Does anyone else get this ?

Never mind lol I misread year of end date lol. Does anyone know of a promo that will extend a contract by a year?

L1 TDP No Upgrade CED : 3/28/2017
L2 UDP No Upgrade CED : 9/25/2016
L3 UDP Upgrade Available CED : 3/24/2016

Basically, I want to know what will happen if I transferred upgrade L3 to L1. Will I be able to transfer it without losing my UDP on L3 and will I be able to use the new phone on L3 if I change the sims?

Don’t want to lose any UDP.
Any ways to increase contract to bypass the $20 Upcharge.

Transfer from L3 to L1
Activate on L1 to drop pending upgrade status
Do NOT transfer to L3
Sell the new phone and use the cash to buy a new phone for L3 at retail price.
You must complete steps one and two before the CED to avoid the $20 increase.

Hi Guys - ugh...really bummed...I goofed up. Here's my situation:
NATIONWIDE TALK SHARE 700 (old Family Share plan)
L1: iPhone 5s, UDP, upgrade eligible
L2: LG G4, UDP, upgrade eligible

I just placed 2 orders on Best Buy today, trying to do BBM:
L1: iPhone 6s
L2: Galaxy S7

But now that BBM doesn't work, is my only option to sell both and then buy new ones at full retail?

I'm assuming I could return both to Best Buy, re-order the opposite phones (e.g. S7 for L1 and 6s for L2), then swap the sims? Or will it take a lot longer to return, wait for the PU to fall off before I can re-order?

L1: UDP upgrade eligible
L2: TDP upgrade eligible

Got pre-order S7 on L2 line using its upgrade... took that phone and cut my micro sim to a nano.. then put it in the L1 line... and I retained unlimited without any issues ! Now I still have an upgrade to L1... I assume I can transfer that and BB a new phone to my house and just destroy the sim and use it on L2?

Yes but when you use L1's upgrade for L2, never ever ever use it on L1.

I would have used L2's upgrade, activated on L2.....

That would have resulted in the loss of UDP on L2.

L1,L2,L3 - TDP Not eligible
L4 - UDP Not eligible
L5 - Basic eligible

I just want to confirm.
I am going to use BBM to upgrade L5 to get an S7. I will cut down my current SIM card (S5 micro SIM) on L4 to a nano and put it into the new S7. This will leave a switch order on my plan but will renew the current non data plan on L5. And I should not run into any issues with losing my UDB.
Please advise.

Need Help keeping udp. I bought a S7 through Best Buy on the Verizon network I cut down my SIM card from my S4 when I turn the phone on it said account was already active everything seemed fine. But now my phone is requesting me to call and activate my phone I'm thinking this will terminate my unlimited data plan any ideas on what to do and if calling to activate phone will terminate UDP.
