Is LG working on their own Chip?

Came across this and thought it was pretty cool. Seems lg wants to make a chip to rival the exynos from Samsung. Could this be the G5's chipset?

Looking good. Save them money in the long run not having to license chips from other manufacturers. I sure would like to see it on another handset before the G5. Don't really wanna guinea pig a new chip.
