I've got the Honor 5X - you have questions - fire away!

Does this phone support dual standby? Or is it one sim active at a time? Also, does it get LTE on T-Mobile?

Oh, and call quality. How is it?

How annoying is EMUI? Is it difficult for users who are accustomed to the app drawer found in almost all popular Android devices?

It's one active SIM at a time. In settings there's a 'Dual SIM management' screen where this is easily managed.

Call quality - not sure yet as I haven't popped in a SIM - have been using on WiFi only at the moment.

I wouldn't call it annoying so much as different. It's easy enough to pick up and find out where things are.

Thanks! I was hoping for dual standby but this will have to do. Let me know if you get to test call quality. This seems like a very good phone for my dad. He really needs a new phone and it has to be dual sim.

That's true. I'd have to replace those icons with something else too.
You can also swipe down to open the quick launch screen. Begin typing in the app name and it will show up. You will also see recently used apps on this screen

There is dual SIM standby. Either SIM can receive a call. The SIM management tool is used to configure which SIM is the primary mobile data SIM, and default for calls/messages.

Here we go.
