Mine showed up yesterday already.....funny cause it's not suppose to leave the warehouse till tomorrow

I really hope this happens with mine. Ordered Black 32GB today and it says leaving warehouse 12/16. I chose overnight shipping so it would be an awesome suprise to see it sooner.

Ordered my advanced replacement yesterday. Said it's supposed to be shipping by the 13th. Crossing my fingers that the replacement is flawless.

So I just got my email notification from Google tonight too, but they didn't just now ship it. I looked up the UPS tracking number and it was actually shipped on 12/6/2013 and my delivery date is set for tomorrow 12/12/2013.

The crazy thing here is that I bought the phone on 12/5. According to UPS's tracking site the phone was shipped from Louisville, KY, and it's already in Vernon, CA (About 45 miles from me).

I ordered it on Dec. 6th and received it on Dec. 10th. I chose the middle shipping option (don't remember how many days). I didn't even get the shipping e-mail until a day after it arrived.

I'm shocked. I ordered a black 32GB at 2:00 PM yesterday, 12/11. My original email said shipping on 12/16. I received an email saying it has shipped at 1:00 AM, 4 hours ago. I chose overnight delivery and it's showing scheduled delivery by 3:00 PM today. Normally UPS brings all our packages by 10:00 AM but I think that will be pushing it. Regardless, even if it comes at 3:00 PM today that will be 25 hours from order to delivery. That's Amazon-like efficiency. Very impressed.

Update: Out for Delivery! Scheduled between 9A-12P! Less than 24 hours turnaround!

I ordered a black 16gb model on 12/2... they said: leaves warehouse by December 13, 2013.

It seems that the black 16gb is still the hardest to get.

I got it today (12/12) and love it so far. The funny thing is that I played with it for over an hour before realizing that the film (with "Nexus 5" in grey letters) is supposed to be removed.

Very cool! This is actually my 3rd Nexus, and my 4th Android phone. My first Android phone, was actually the first Android phone, the HTC G1. And although at the time it was a very cool, new option, when I got my Nexus One I was completely blown away.

Two years later, once my 2 year contact with T-Mobile was up, I followed the Nexus to Verizon Wireless and picked up the Galaxy Nexus. Sadly I have to say, it was the worst Nexus experience I've had. I didn't jump on the Nexus 4 because I loved Version's signal, but with that being said I absolutely hate, how Verizon jerked around my Nexus updates. The whole reason I left T-Mobile after 8 years and went to Verizon was the Nexus. So with once the N5 was released I was ready to go the prepaid route and say the hell with Verizon!

Now I must say that the Nexus 5 an amazing device. The amount of detail that has gone into designing Kit Kat is incredible! I was very spectacle about buying the N5 due to the small battery and it's mix reports of life. I was giving the LG G2 a serious look. But only the Verizon version support wireless charging, and I wanted to get away from Verizon. And although the Battery and camera on the G2 are better, it's not always about the specs and I feel like I would get more software updates and support from Google than LG in the long run.

So Yeah, N5 is here!

I know this is a shipping thread, but I thought I would give you guys a heads up. The Sound (although very good) is pretty soft through headphones. I recommend faux sound with the analog controls set at 2 and the digital gain controls set at 0. I've been using this for the past couple of days and it's really nice. So, if you notice it as well, here's a fix

Might be your headphones? I'm listening to Play Music and can't turn the sound to full volume because it is actually to loud for my ears.

Nope, I've tested with others as well. It just seems way too low. I can turn the volume all the way up for green day with no issues. It seems to be only about 60% of the volume of my other phones.

I ordered 12/12 before close of business. Selected one day shipping and it was at my door before close of business on 12/13. I live in Metro Atlanta.

Now just waiting on Sprint to pull their heads out of their *** and get me a SIM card.
