No, I didn't - they were trying to make me get a 15GB data plan when I don't even use my current 5GB plan. It would have ended up costing me quite a bit more per month, but of course! On the 19th, I'll just buy one out right and have them put my Note 5 SIM in it. If they won't do that, I'll just keep the PAID FOR Note 5!

I pre ordered the onyx black (best looking one by far) Note7 from T-Mobile on August 3rd. Still debating if I should go with the free Gear fit 2 or 256gb micro SD card. Actually I'll go with the SD card because im going to pick up the gear s3 after it is announced at IFA 2016.

Went to the local best buy to check the phones out on display and the manager was trying to talk me into cancelling my order with Verizon and ordering through them. Any thoughts?

I have a thought. This is what I did.

Tue: I pre-ordered the Note 7 through Verizon, but then the next day I saw the Sam's club ad for the sd card or watch plus the 150 gift card and thought "why not cancel with Verizon and see if Best Buy would match Sam's Club?". Plus Sam's Club didn't have the Blue Coral Note 7 for pre-order. Oh and one more (sort of important) factor. Wait for it.... I'm not a member.

Thur: Went to Best Buy to check out the Note 7. I liked it, but I needed to see the Blue Coral & try out the iris recognition in person so it was off to Verizon (across the street). But before I left Best Buy I asked the managers if they'd match Sam's Club. They said yes. I canceled my Verizon order and once I confirmed it went through I placed my pre-order for the Blue Coral with Best Buy that evening. Total cost was 799.99 instead of 849.99 as I had 50.00 in Best Buy Reward points. Verizon is 864, but they're waving the activation on online orders I think. That evening I received an email that part of my Best Buy order was ready for pick up.

Fri: Picked up my 256GB card (They had to ring the watch up first and then do an exchange for the watch is for online orders and the sd card for in store pre-order) and 150.00 BB gift card.

Sat: Sold my Note 5 (Using an used Lg 4 until the 19th)

Wow iphone 5s to note 7 that's is quite the jump. She will LOVE it as long as she likes the bigger screens.

I know she will definitely love the Note - she plays with my s7edge sometimes and always comments on how much she likes the bigger screen size compared to her phone. Plus, her primary reason for wanting the Note as opposed to the s7edge is that she likes to draw and having the stylus will allow her to do that on her phone. I am so excited for her because this will be my early birthday gift to her since her birthday is in September.

Very very smart. I am actually waiting to receive my phone from verizon and then sell my s7 edge and use it towards the payment plan with Verizon!

I ordered the Coral Blue model on Verizon. Since microSD cards are relatively inexpensive (64 gigs on board is a lot), I'm going to choose the Gear Fit 2 for my freebie.

Blue is so much more popular than I thought it would be! Maybe that's why Apple is teasing that blue iPhone 7
