JT Super Clean Rom available on Rom Manager

So far this ROM is the closest thing to sanity I have had with this phone. I have been VERY happy with the speed of my phone since installing this. I have been making regular nandroid backups before installing new software so I can go back if something starts slowing the phone down.

Thanks for the info. I'll just have to hold off my excitement when the ota froyo arrives until someone makes a cwm flashable rom for froyo, just hope it happens quickly. I'm pretty good with computers but not programming, i think its amazing what some of these developers come up with. Great job android devs keep up the good work!

I'd also wait for someone to make a cleaned up Froyo. We all know Samsung sucks at making software, and that Verizon will only make it worse with bloat. I wouldn't touch the OTA myself.

Very good point, let's just hope our devs aren't too far behind the OTA.

I'm sure they won't be I think I had 2.1 on my D1a month or two before the OTA.

That's awesome, I hope so...especially if they can just use part of the mesmerize's version.

Other than the fact that I can't get the su notification outta any of my screenshots, I love this theme.

Use ShootMe instead of drocap. Really dig your status bar. Why 2 battery icons though?

I used Battery Status Bar, before i installed the theme...i'll have to uninstall it now lol or get a widget.

And i'll have to check out ShootMe, thanks for the tip. :)

Yeah ShootMe's much better, thanks again.

no need for a battery widget really either.

I think the widgets look cool but a lot of people have trouble with battery widgets making the music player skip. BattStatt and Gauge can both do it (the bigger sized ones) and those were my favorites. So I just installed the % in status bar.

Thanks guys, I don't use anything now since the theme has a % in it. But I'll take all of that into account. :)

Installed the stable non-voodoo kernel and started getting premium txt messages upon reboot. Kinda tic'd about that, hopefully they don't show up on my bill.

Anyhoo, flashed the rom, love almost everything excpet there is no more desk home app! I use that nightly for weather and clock, any recommendations?

How is the stable voodoo kernel I saw in Rom Manager? Anybody try this? Also, when you install this, does it redo everything on your phone (delete contacts, etc)?

if you go the recommended route and wipe your cache and data then yes, it redoes everything.

Just a note about the "testing" non-voodoo kernel it was very unstable on my phone. It would run smoothly for around 15 minutes and then slow down to a crawl and require a battery pull.

well, after about 5 minutes with JT's rom I couldn't get my comp to recognise the SD card any more, so now I'm waiting on my CWM Backup to restore and see if that fixes it.

Edit: Restore didn't fix it. Running Stock Kernel and Stock ROM, any ideas?

Did you mount your sd card and do you have the newest driver's installed?
