Don't panic, it happened to me. I had to flash a new rom and kernel from scratch, both my back ups were corrupted or something. Titanium will probably still have all your stuff. Get the paid version if you didn't already. Otherwise you're in for a long hard restore process.

Okay. So should I reinstall this DJ05/DL09 kernel, or just do a DL09? How would I go about putting the new kernel on my sdcard since my phone won't even boot up..?
EDIT!! Or..should I just go ahead and install the DL30 and try getting everthing back with titanium backup
Frankie, did you wipe data/cache partition and try re-flashing DL30?
I got froyo working but my 3G connection doesn't seem to work..wifi connects fine, but if im not using it i cant get into the market or browser
also, my gmail seems to have reset and won't sync my email..

I tried the cache, rebooted, and kept getting force close loop. Then I did cache> reflash DL30, kept getting loop. So I tried clearing the data and cache, flashed DL30 and it worked, but I had lost everything on my phone. So I went back and tried to restore both of my backups in CWM, and they would just hang on the samsung logo. I'm sure I might have messed up somewhere, but this is where I'm at now, I can still get into CWM
oh thats what you meant the nandroid,,,, yeah this wont work because it is the DL30 kernel... you are going to have to use odin to flash back to DL09 then use the restore
This is the part I would give up on. Once you get it up and running, then reinstall your apps manually. I know it's a pain, but it's a lot less time that you've just spent trying to get it to work.
And if you're back in a loop again, I don't mean to keep repeating this, but there's several steps in post 1 that will get you to where you need to be in about 20 minutes.
Yeah, sorry about that, my brain is fried right now lol. So, download a DL09 kernel and flash it with odin, then I will be able to do a restore (nandroid)? Then I can flash the DL30, and I shouldn't have any problems hopefully?

post 14 and 15 ,,, will get you back to stock DL09, then post 13

My phone is being dumb and wont connect to my PC to re-flash stock. Anyway I can fix force close besides wipe data and factory reset. I get an error when I do both of those for some reason. Edit, Never mind I get the flash failed sign. Ugh

Do you think this could be caused by the DJ05/DL09 kernel? Maybe you need the DL09 in order to not get the force close loop??
Yes. Ill try that right now. if that doesnt work idk what to do. It let me right into odin first time flashed a clock work, now it wont connect, and when I get lucky and it does, it gets stuck in setup connection then just goes to removed.
First attempted the update and got in the force close loop. Flashed back from DJ05 to DI01, then flashed to DL09, then re-applied the DL30. Worked perfectly through CWR RED. CWR Blue wouldnt let me select the file i wanted to zip. Big thanks to Kaos for hacking this for us, and thanks to everyone else helpful on the forums!
