Chances are you'll absolutely love it, but Roadsync is a cheaper option. For TD, there are 2 versions. Make sure you install the 2.x vs. 1.x version or you'll throw your phone out the window.

Regarding all the e-mail issues:
Remember when the original Droid was having problems sync'ing with Exchange, after it was OTA'd to Froyo? If I remember correctly someone went and downloaded the AOSP e-mail client, and installed that apk over what was already there. This corrected that problem for them (albeit was related to connectivity, handshake w/ exchange, etc). Do you think that type of solution could be implemented here? What risks would one take by installing that apk? Just curious. I am having the same e-mail issue, but I didn't enjoy TD, or K9. I never tried RoadSync, but I don't feel like I need to pay for something my phone already supports (i'm cheap like that). What do you think?

Edit: And in case anyone was thinking about using the Work Email app that HTC made, it will FC on you too. LOL. I'll post if I find something free that works.

So this has been bugging me all night dont know why i want to know and i didnt do it to find out but what happens if you hit phone and not the pda?

I believe you overwrite your phone's modem and render it useless as a phone. Not sure if there's a fix for it, I've just read it being very bad to do.

with the built-in facebook? Seems that quite a few people are having issues with it even on stock Fascinates.

I am still on totally stock DL09 fascinate, weighing out whether I should attempt to install Froyo or not.. and I can confirm my Facebook contacts are not syncing.. it's errored out, so whatever the cause it's not this ROM.

All I know is it's ruined people phones. I think it screws up your ability to ever make a call again or something crazy like that.

Was a long process, but finally made it. Had to go all the way back to load on a stock 09. I did wipe cache several times before updating to 30, not sure if that was the answer, but it didn't hurt. Found that google search (enhanced) was causing my forced closes.

Now to see what little bloat is left on there, restore my old start and shutdown screens again.

Some apps arent installing, like tapatalk, but maybe ill find another download. As for froyo, everything runs good besides my stupid email app which randomly force closes.

Roadsync is a LOT cheaper but until they figure out the issue with it syncing when it is not supposed to, I won't touch it. Not to mention their tech support is horrible. TD on the other hand, got back to me within 24 hours and actually answered my questions!

FYI if you flash this on top of the DJ05 Super Clean ROM you will need to rename the EnhancedGoogleSearchProvider.apk file (and reboot) if you had the widget running. It was extremely buggy and I couldn't trash it. Use the updated Google Search widget in DL30 instead.

i had seen a post about using the wifi hotspot and something about "snooping" in the new s/w. now i cant find it. what was that about? i DEFINITELY use the crap outta that for xbox live.

Anyone having trouble with cwm making a backup on dl30? It freezes and forces me to pull the battery when trying to backup via cwm. Any ideas?

Does anyone else have this? My battery icon is still on the right hand side of the notification bar. Also, when I plug in the phone it makes the battery chargiing sound but my icon just stays the solid blue color. Anyone else experiencing this?
