I use Lecture Notes quite extensively and I'm one of those people who use something and don't read instruction until it doesn't work right. I recently purchased a Bamboo Wacom Stylus. It is a great pen size stylus making it easier to write for longer periods of time.
I'm not having any problems with it but I went to settings to see if there were any settings I needed to change for optimal performance. In general settings > input there are options for "hardware detection" & "software emulation". I read the help section about these but I'm still not sure which is best. I want to write but not make marks with my palm or fingers. I currently use "hardware detection".
