LG G3 Wireless Qi charging

Anyone trying with the TMO version? Oddly hoping it supports PMA, but would be happy with Qi.

Do these covers change the thickness of the phone at all? I don't want it to be thicker like Verizons G2 and have it not fit in standard cases due to the extra thickness.

As long as your not on att youll b fine

The cover is due to be delivered tomorrow afternoon (Monday). I'll try it right away on an Anker Qi charger I've got and report back. Plus, I've got a few more Qi chargers on the way. Stay tuned.

Just ordered my G3 over the phone and gave up our 2 grandfathered unlimited data lines. Ordered the LG Circle case with wireless charging. Ordered a charger from Ebay. Can't wait!

No, they are identical to stock back plate.

They had an issue with my delivery, and delayed it till Friday. I also ordered a protective cover from Amizon: Spigen Slim Armor Case Gold-SGP10868. I hope that I can charge with my current round puck shaped LG plate when all this plastic is installed. More later.....

Ok, here is my 2 cents, I got sim free european version, 4 pins on the cover, just received Samsung S Charger Pad to use with my LG G3, it came with no AC/DC adapter, so plugged LG one with output of 5.0V, 1.8A and put the phone on the plate, it start to charge, but then LED was flashing once green then orange.... I read the booklet and it says the pad needs 5.3V and 2A or over, so I have used my iPad's charger which is 5.1V and 2.1A so amperage is good, it happens the same, even it says use LG adapter..... So no luck with wireless charging yet. On the box it says, use with certified Samsung adapters.

Should I return it or should I go for genuine Samsung adapter?

Second post: I think I've sorted it.

I've been using Belkin 1.8m microUSB cable, (I like watching youtube in bed) it is bad idea to charge the pad with long cables, it won't work, swap with original one from LG.
Because charging pad is small you must put your phone precisely, bottom edge of the charging pad, like just above launch icons on the phone, top of your phone is where pad's cable is. Will do some tests more. So in short: get a minimum 2A charger, get short cable more likely your chargers cable, check the best position for your phone, even 1mm can make a difference.

Just received my Quick Circle Case from VZW, and in spite of what their website says, the LG packaging specifically states this is a Powermat charger. Of course, had to try on my Qi charger; it charges for about 5 seconds then shuts off.
Did everyone else have the same experience with their VZW order? It's starting to look like there are no domestic carriers of the Qi backed accessories.

I ordered the same one from Verizon, and it works fine on my LG Qi charging pad. Now the back of the packaging does say, that it also works with powermat chargers.

1) I thought that power mat used Qi to charge.

2) ShopAndroidcentral, may I suggest that you find a way to stock Qi compatible backs for the US LG G3 models, you might make a killing.

3) has anyone found a black Qi compatible back for the LG G3? Not a quick circle case just a regular back cover.

I received my case today and it DOES NOT work with my Qi RavPower Charger. Mine also says "Compatible with POWERMAT Wireless Charging Product". It says nothing about Qi on the packing.
