LG V20 pic

Even if they make a different variant like the 6gb ram, it would be china only.

Like it, I think! Hopefully upon its release I love it! Because if not, it's back to the drawing board for upgrade choices... Nexus!! :)

If I don't like v20 (and I'm not sure screen will be bright enough for me) I'll either buy another Note 7 or wait til March to check out the Galaxy s8. I like the size of the s7edge but hate the curved edges.

If I don't like the V20 I may end up getting another V10. I'm using the S7E now and really don't like the curved edges. I was hoping the Note 7 would have a flat screen but it doesn't, even though curved edges aren't as pronounced. So, unless something else is coming with a larger 5.7" to 6" display to T-Mobile then I might be getting another V10 if the V20 doesn't live up to expectations.

I'd like to be able to use the second screen real estate in Nova since my first move will be to disable the second screen and install Nova.

Why? The second screen has actually proven quite useful.
If I am going to carry a 6 inch phone I want to see Netflix in all 6 of them! Otherwise I would rather carry a 5.7 inch phone. This is basically a 5.7 inch phone with a huge bezel like an iphone.

I agree.

Despite my tiny hands I love huge screens when watching my shows on Youtube or whatnot so for me anyways ..... bigger is better

Its the first thing I noticed when I was at my carrier when returning my Note 7. I never looked at LG before and was pleasantly surprised to see how large the screen was and am now considering a V20 !

You understand there is a top section you cannot use for your youtube right? In other words the video will be exactly the same size on the V20 as the Note 7. There other space is for clock, notifications, etc. You cannot expand pics or vids into that space. Wasted real estate.... At least it is on the V10. If V20 lets use that space for vid I'm in. Otherwise no point in going bigger just to get same size screen. V20 specs out tonight at 9

I'm sorry but why would you want a truncated portion of screen to show a truncated portion of the video you are watching? You do realize in both the V10 and (from the leaked pics) V20 the second screen only extends for a portion of the screen? I personally enjoyed the use of that screen for zooming and other functions in the camera and video app and for always available shortcuts. IMO it makes zero sense in extending video onto it.

I think some people just won't be happy unless the screen extends edge to edge on all sides. I remember the same wasted space complaints on the M8, even though the lower bezel held a good chunk of the electronics.

I don't own a V10 so excuse my ignorance if I'm not correct, but isn't the second screen next to the camera lens? If so, how can that space be reclaimed?

You do realize that you wouldn't have a full 6", right? The Second Screen doesn't extend the entire length of the main screen.

Whatever distance it goes I would want to use for bigger Netflix playback. Hey look, you guys love your phones and you should. V10 is a really nice phone. I just really don't like the second screen concept. I would prefer a smaller, easier to carry phone with full 5.7 inch screen or a bigger phone with full 6 inch screen. I don't want camera in screen. I don't want second screen. It makes phone bigger without making primary viewing screen bigger. This I do not need. It is a great phone if you enjoy that feature. I just find it hard to carry and uncomfortable to type on. I didn't know second screen was unavailable real estate until yesterday. A modernized version of G4 without modularity would have been ideal for me. V20 does look like a spectacular phone if u have a comfortable way to carry it though.

Just watched the review video from Pocketnow and I must say..... This phone is definitely on some steroids.

Excited to see further reviews in the next couple of weeks to get a full perspective of the phone.
