[LINK][ROM] Liquid Thunderbread v2.6 (8/06/11)

Thanks for the confirmation :) it threw me seeing "Sense" in the ROM description on RootzWiki.
i was hardcore "Sense forever!" until recently. after this & CM7, i really don't miss it all that much.

the only real thing that i hate not having from something like DasBamf to this ROM is the Dialer feature which allows you to just type a name using the keypad and it returns relevant Name results & phone numbers that use that sequence of keys. everything else though can be overlooked by just downloading widgets or, for me, GoLauncher.

well, that and the camera quality on this sucks. looks like a-kernel-hunting i must go.

There is a sense theme that can be installed and choosen from the Theme Chooser. Everything is there as far as looks go. Beautiful Widgets and Launcher Pro takes care of the rest. So now I have what looks exactly like Sense, but now 275+ MB of RAM and better battery life. :)

thank you!

but do you have the "launcher pro" plus version (which would offer Themes)? at the moment, i only have "system-current" theme available. looking on the market, looks like some themes are only compatible with the "plus" version./

oy. just dl'ed/flashed imo's 'lean' kernel, hoping to fix the camera quality (yes, it's already on 8mp), but the camera is still horrendous. slow, no real-time focusing, laggy in all aspects. hopefully i'm overlooking some obvious setting/fix or a kernel that someone could suggest. this might be a deal breaker for this ROM. i might as well just install LauncherPro overtop of a Sense ROM with adequate camera if i can't find a fix. hope there's one out there.

You only have to have launcher pro plus to get the HTC Sense looking widgets, but there may be some in the market for free that looks similiar. (*You also can find a Sense looking dock to go with Launcher Pro. Icon Pack by Droidicon..on the market.") As of right now, I'm running the new Motoblur blue theme that was made for CM7/AOSP. There is also a Sony Xperia theme and a Touchwiz theme. This stuff is great. Here is the thread with pics of how they look. It says for CM7, but as long as you have the Theme Chooser app on your phone, you can use these. [CM7 Theme Chooser] Sony, Samsung, Motorola themes for CM7 (HDPI/MDPI - Updated 4/9) - xda-developers And here is the link for the Sense theme....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970459. Just follow instructions to install and enjoy.

So, I flashed this and it is dope. I am not familiar with kernels and radios tho. Which ones are good for this rom/phone?

I'm using the latest KangBang kernel and MR3.5 radio. radio works prefectly and i get great battery life and performance with the kangbang kernel. i used to use leankernel by imoseyon, or dreamkernel, but this has given me better battery life (results seem to vary by each individual phone for kernels though).

I'm running the same with the same results. I also run SetCPU and Autokiller Memory Wizard.

It's the newest one from the official GB release I'm pretty sure.

Which should be MR3 since this is the 3rd OTA release... or are we just making up numbers now??? I mean I can understand MR2.5 which came AFTER MR2, but this did not come after MR3.

Unsure, but this is what I've been seeing the newest one being referred to as. I don't know who comes up with the radio number schemes and I really don't care that much to be honest.

Where??? The link in my signature doesn't have it... it refers to the last one as 2.11.605.3... including XDA and RootzWiki's main radio threads.

Wtf do you mean where? You're the one who said you keep seeing people refer to it in the first place. I just tried to answer your question. Is everything always an argument with you?

Come on... I'm not trying to cause any trouble... I'm just asking for a simple link to some thread that you say has an actual radio on known website like XDA or RootzWiki with the name MR3.5. And by me saying I see people referring to the name... it's only a few people, and all it our threads asking about radio versions... and as I stated all I see on any websites like XDA or RootzWiki, or even Das BAMF are references to the version number of the ROM that had the latest radio. I would be more than happy to call it MR3.5, but I've never seen a REAL thread with a RADIO linked in it say MR3.5... and why exactly can't you provide me a link??? Is that really that difficult???

I never called it that. I said I was PRETTY SURE that was the radio he was referring to before you got all worked up about it. I have seen it called that by other posters, but never officially. I offered an answer to your question. Take it or leave it. Good day sir! :P

Also I'm using Tapatalk and don't know how to copy and paste links from in the app. If you know how please enlighten me. Good day again sir!

I'm not really sure if calling it 3.5 is technically correct or not (i'm not really worried about it either), thats just what it was called where i downloaded it, which i think was at th3oryrom. More importantly, does anyone have any idea when LTB v3.0 is gonna be available?? I'm pretty sure I read people are testing release candidate 4 so I'm hoping its soon
