Love getting acquainted with my Z3 . Question?

As stated love my Z3, finding all it's nooks and crannies.
Do have a question:

Does Sony update security? Like the Nexus line which is monthly.
Would not suffer buyers remorse but it's something to know.
Or is that a marshmallow thing?

Going to do away with most of Sony apps...but slowly.
if not used within a week or so...their gone.

I haven't seen any security updates coming to my wife's z3, and by now I am upset that it doesn't have Marshmallow. It's a very pleasant device, although I am slightly disappointed by the camera, but slow updates are really annoying. At this point if there is a 5 inch Nexus phone this year that's what I will get as my wife's next device.

Marshmallow is coming to the Z3 and Z3Cs. It's currently in Beta testing.

Thanks all.
Have seen quite a few updates to mine. Of course it's new.
5.1.1, build *.232 , might try that .486 MM beta.
Hear Sony is very good/conservative with software. Meaning when released it just works.
That has it's good and bad points. S.L.O.W. updates is THE bad point.
Don't know anything about this MM build but will do some research.
