Nothing here either... I have seen comments elsewhere that it doesn't seem like anyone is getting it. But Sprint wouldn't lie would they?

I've got it! Of course, I am rooted and unlocked with freegee and I flashed the update ROM from XDA.

Great question...I'm hoping they just make it available on the tenth day for everyone. That's best case scenario though. If there's been some kind of issue with the rollout shouldn't Sprint communicate this? I traded my evo lte for this phone only to have just as puzzling of a jellybean rollout. If I didn't feel this phone was better I'd be goin nuts right now!

I did the same thing. I am getting the HTC ONE though. Nothing against this phone, it's brilliant.

As for the update I hope the mention something or we see others getting this update.

I haven't read of anyone claiming to have received JB on the Optimus G other than those who received it before the "official" release announcement.

I was on the sprint forums and got a little more info. Seems that the update log on sprint's website has been updated. It lists yesterday as the start date for the rollout. Also it lists the update as "zva" and says the update is 4.2! Me too. The 4.2 thing may be legit. Would definitely explain the "zvb" and "zva" confusion.

I think I know why people are confused now. Both zva and zvb are jb but zvb is 4.1.2 and zva is 4.2.x take that research!

The community forum over at Sprint has all of the convolutions... apparently depending on where you look, or who you talk to at Sprint the release is 4.1.1, 4.1.2 or 4.2

I personally doubt 4.2 since LG would release that in Korea first based on the 4.1.2 roll-out... but that is trying to determine a pattern from a single occurrence.

I think 4.1.2 is the version we are going to get. The others were most likely typos or just incorrect information taken from the wrong place. Very small chance we would end up with 4.2 that quickly.
