LTE in Lawrence, KS

Currently getting 4G on Mass. LTE isn't even planned out this far. Speed test says I'm on Overland Park signal. Pretty good distance if so, with great speeds!

Given that on a clear day, you can see the campus just outside of OP on K10, this doesn't surprise me too much, but it's still pretty cool.

Just saw this post, but that same day I was in Spahr on campus and got 15 Mbps. A buddy of mine with the S3 got 26 Mbps a day or two later. Can't wait for the full deployment so we don't have to rely on Sprint's subpar 3G.

I'm not real sure how the speed tests work, but your not bouncing off a tower in Overland Park. They are too far out. It's more of an Internet server thing it is showing. Lawrence has probably been upgraded for LTE but hasn't officially gone live.

I'm in Wamego (near Manhattan). My speed tests show an Overland Park server also. We also had LTE for nearly a month before Verizon announced it.
