Manually Apply 2.0.1 Update WORKING

No need to down grade the leak OS your using is the same as the official.

Don't be sorry I'm really use to losing every game or almost every game. I'm sure there has to be 2.0 OS out there somewhere, I'm going to save the 2.0.1 update just for the reason you pointed out.

While I am not having issues with 2.0.1 (knock on wood...) it is pretty common for a new version of OS to bring more issues while fixing old ones. Just the nature of the game. Some will be more lucky than others. Only thing you can really do is wait until 2.1 hits. Hopefully in the rumored update in January.

ya, im with the droid for the long haul.... so like jeremy pointed out, hopefully the 2.1 hits in january, im sure we will go thru many updates,with updates we will have the good and the bad. im not worried, im just glad i finally have a phone that i can look forward to for a long time. and android central to back me up....(lil shout out for ya jeremy) lol

no, this is for the moto droid, you have to wait until HTC releases an update that is compatible with your hardware and sense. people are saying sometime early next year

i dont think so.ithink this 2.1 is only for the droid.

when the HTC hardware does get an update, they will probably get 2.1 as that seems to be the version they are working with

I updated both mine and my wife's droid. Both went super smooth. No issues with Facebook or anything. I did have one instance where maps locked up and then when i got back to my home screen all the icons/shortcuts/widgets were gone, had to reboot to get them back. Wife's phone seems fine.

The most annoying issue now though is that both phones are sitting in their multimedia dock right now and neither one will pull up the weather. When I try to manually set the location via either zip or city name it cant find anything. I tried a battery pull...still nothing. Are others having this issue?

This has been a known issue prior to the update. I too have this problem from time to time...the weather indicator seems to be very spotty. Sometimes it works, others it doesn't.

Actually a Eris update is being pushing out as I type this. Not 2.1 though...
