MAXX or S5??

[AC Question]

Which is the better option?
I am not into gaming or watching tons of videos on my phone. I use it for work, emails and BASIC social media. Not a huge data user at all.
Interested in battery life, stability of hardware/software and ability to update with new operating systems coming out (android L).

Need to make a decision in a day or 2 due to availability in schedule to get this done....... all input is appreciated!!

Welcome to Android Central! Between those two, I'd probably go for the Droid Maxx, due to its battery life and (in my opinion) better reliability from Motorola. Have you considered the Moto X? I assume you're on Verizon.
