[MEGATHREAD] LG IMS Keeps Stopping (5/2022)

So I know there was one post already related to this but no solution in that thread has worked, nor has any solution posted on various websites.

I wish I could just disable LG IMS as the frame work contributes to features of my phone I simply don't use, however I cannot find the place to do so nor the IP type most websites tell me to. Like I said I have a Stylo 4 so that may be the issue.

I also doubt it has to do with any particular app as a factory reset did not fix it.

I am at my wits end so either a detailed guide for disabling it or any other fixes would be greatly appreciated.

What's odd about that is my phone hasn't gotten LG updates since August 2019. From a security pov, It's a little scary to be on such an out of date OS. I use Malwarebytes & T-Mobile's security app.
 
Another update. Called tmobile on a different phone. Their recording said there's an issue in my sector and they're working on it (every non lg phone here works fine) and that there's a 30 minute wait for tech support.
 
A factory reset does not work so don’t bother. It’s basically coming through our TMobile service so nothing we do is going to fix it. Too bad everyone with the issue can’t just cancel TMobile.
 
Just wanted to say, as a Google Fi user--removing the sim stops the issue entirely. This was originally a T-Mobile activated phone for about a year until the switch. It doesn't seem there was any security or app updates pushed in the last 24 hours so my money is on it being an LG issue.
 
I am a Mint Phone service user with same issue as all these Tmobile users - I have an LGV20 (branded Tmobile) with a Mint SIM card - and I got this same problem 3 or more hours ago - I switched the Mint SIM card into an LGV40 (branded Sprint) phone - so far so good....

I'm on boost mobile with a LG Stylo 6 and have been having this issue all morning, though it seems to have stopped for now in the past few minutes
 
I am also on T-Mobile with an LG G7 ThinQ and this started happening early this morning though I woke up at 11. I can make short calls but most windows close on me as well. I hope T-Mobile or LG is getting a fix on this.

My phone was branded TMobile but I was using Mint - are the others who are on non TMobile SIM cards also all on TMobile branded LG phones?
