Mobile hotspot won't enable!!!

I've been using my phone thru Cricket for a long time and never tried to use the hotspot till now. When I turn on the mobile hotspot, it tells me to contact ATT... so how can I get this feature to work? I have Cricket's $70 plan. I have a Galaxy S5

Contact AT&T. You'll probably have to pay a little each month for a tethering account.

Looks as though it will cost you $10 per month extra if you want the Cricket Add-On for Mobile Hotspot...

Looks like the OP may be SOL - Cricket doesn't even list the S5 as being compatible with mobile hotspot.

(and yes, before anyone chimes in and says "I use it all the time" - so do I. The phone is compatible, but unfortunately the carrier makes the final decision)
