[MOD]Getting Hulu to work on Fascinate for Froyo(Voodoo and nonVoodoo)*Updated 2/24*

I like to think we're "resourceful" :D We will hax it and stick it to the man. But from their perspective there is less motivation to make an app, which I understand.

Yeah you have to use a task killer for the app.

i would just advise to use the native task manager,,,,also if you pause the video and leave it , it will work just like a music app and eventually android will close it out when needed

Yeah whatever works for you, I like System Panel and have used it for a long time. It's not an automated task killer. I also don't have the task manager in AOSP.

My opinion is if you have to ask about it a task killer than its best to keep away ,,,what are you running btw

I'm on JT's Vanilla Froyo atm - SC is a more logical choice AOSP just gives me warm fuzzies :)

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FLASH INSTALLER FOR HULU HAS BEEN UPDATED IN THE OP , IT NOW SUPPORTS VOODOO AND NONVOODOO DEVICES.

THANKS TO Wilshyre OVER IN THE XDA FORUMS

Whenever I try to use this in Dolphin HD the show will play mostly through the intro and when gets to an ad it stops and says it can't load the ad, then it just replays from the beginning getting stuck every time.

does it do this when using the app?

Didn't do it on the movie I tried, but the episode of Married with Children did, maybe it's just a fluke. Didn't happen at all in the Hulu app.

edit- Did it on an episode of Parks and Rec too. Maybe it's a setting in Dolphin HD?

I can not get this to work. No matter what method I use, the app or dolphin hd, I get the same "Hulu not available on your platform message". I am running SC 2.6 and the EB16 kernel. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong here?

Well, I had trouble flashing the Kernel but I got that to work. I followed the directions at the beginning of this thread to get Hulu working but doesn't seem to be working now. I even went back and re-flashed it, the hulu flash installer from the first post, and it still doesn't seem to be working. :'(
