He mentioned he ordered a black phone and got a white cable and charger. Did anyone check if the 50GB free storage for two years on Google Drive promo work for these phones?

I noticed the wifi/cellular connection/battery/clock icons on the upper right are in blue on his phone. I have the XT1053 in 32GB and it is in white. Is this user adjustable easily?

Yes, both of mine came with a white charger.

it will turn to white when you upgrade the OS or insert a SIM. My newest XT1053 had the blue icons when I first turned it on but they are now white.

The price dropped to 229 so I pulled the trigger. Getting this for my mom's Christmas gift. Was thinking about the Moto G but at this price I couldn't turn it down. Came out to 299.99 zero tax paid in CA. Estimated to arrive next Wednesday

I just bought two. A black and white. Price is back to $249.99 which is still a good deal. Figured $70 more was worth getting Moto X over a Moto G.

The moto x initially came with jellybean which had blue icons. The KitKat upgrade brought white icons to the notification bar. The pictures shown are just old.
