Moto X 2014 Cases!

Very nice, thank you. I can see it is VERY clear. Do you have any issues with debris and whatnot getting in there? What about fingerprints on the clear back?

$30 is STEEP for a case like this but it looks like it is the ONLY clear case for this phone.

The fit is pretty tight so not much debris. Yes fingerprints, but easily cleaned like Ben said. Yes, steep,but I like the internal bumper, wood protection, and button covers. Original buttons feel too sharp to me. I've dropped this phone w/case on. Case slightly scratched but wood intact. Best case for my needs.

My Moto X is naked. I just hate the feel of cases and screen protectors, even though I bought a few cases to try. I have dropped it a few times and I tend to bump my phone on things a LOT. So far, no problems whatsoever.

Ironically the only scratch I have on my screen happened when I was trying to put on a skinomi screen protector. There was a small bit of particulate matter stuck under the protector and when I tried to squeeze out the water from the application of the skinomi, I managed to scrape it all over the screen... Still it is only noticeable if I stick my face an inch or so from the screen under a ridiculously bright lamp, so I am not too worried.

Thanks! That is good to know. The Moto X is thin but still feels very sturdy.

Probably not. It takes a lot of force to shatter Gorilla Glass 3. The corners and edges are the weakest points of any glass making it the most important place to protect. That's why even a bumper case can be effective in preventing screen damage.

Nice looking case. I like the reviews stating it saved people's phones from 30ft drops.

My only reservations with it are that it doesn't come with a holster, and the dimple is covered. I feel for the price a holster should be included, and the dimple could be uncovered without affecting its protection.

Have you looked into the Otterbox Defender? It comes with a holster, offers the same amount of protection if not more, and you can find it on Amazon for around the same cost.

Found the one from best accessory (STILL can't post links, sorry), it looks matte to me. Can anyone confirm?

I MAY have found one, look up eeee bayyy user "igadgitz_usa" the case looks 100%-clear but doesn't look like the case has a hole at top back for the mic. Also, doesn't looks like it has a cut-out for the dimple.

EDIT: oh, it looks like you can't ask "igadgitz_usa" a question on ebay about the item. Well, when it only costs $2.59, I guess you get what you pay for.

Sigh...the search continues for a 100%-CLEAR TPU case.

Does the Ballistic come in different colors. The white case on their site looks nice, but it would be cool if it were available in several different colors.

Honestly this is the first phone I've ever put a case on. Normally I go naked, but I felt the metal sides combined with the smooth matte made the phone very slippery. I ended up with a clear case to show the design I configured. My holster is a pouch from Cellet that is sold as compatible for the S5 with a case on. It works very well for me. My previous holster was from the same company, but intended for the S4 and used with my OG Moto X. The new Moto X doesn't even fit in it.

I took a $3 chance on the one I pictured above. I think if the ad says "clear" and doesn't say "matte", your chances are good.

It looks like Ballistic just makes the black/white one. Agreed. More colors would be nice.

It seems like I always put a case on my phones. This is the most expensive one I've ever purchased so I kind of want to step up to the Ballistic. The Diztronic is great but I want something stronger because I am pretty clumsy. Haha.

I just can't find this case and I am really interested... I just realized my TPU flexible case is covering one of my MICs (the one between the camera and the earphone hole).

BTW guys, I can't find the 4th microphone (1. lower back - center; 2. top back - between the camera and the earphone; 3 - lower front on the speaker) on my Moto X, where is it?
