Someone commented, either here or in another thread, that they will be making a 2nd gen X case. I don't think they gave a timeline though.

I talked to Case Mate today––got a very uppity young woman. I asked when they would have Moto X cases in stock again she replied, "When the overseas manufacturer sends them to us." When I pointed out that regardless of where the actual manufacture is done, Case Mate is still the manufacturer, she said they would have more Moto X cases in 4-6 weeks.

The best case for all phones in Incipio Offgrid Battery Charging cases. They are strong and you have extra battery power when the phone poops out on you. You plug in at night and it charges the charging case and the phone at the same time.

They don't make one for the Moto, but UNBELIEABLY they make one for the Amazon Fire Phone!!!

Got a trident. Its a great alternative to a seidio dilex or otterbox commuter, which arent available for this phone. 35% off on cyber monday was a plus.

Trident looks good and great price after coupon code, however those cases cover up the design of the moto X. There is limited amount of colors; I would go with the white one. Does it have all the holes for the ports such as 4 microphones, power button, etc? Thanks.

Anyone else order a casemate lately? I got notification it shipped on 12/05/2014 but the tracking number just shows shipping label created and it still in Tucker, GA. Really hate keeping this Moto X not in a case.

I hope they actually have yours. I talked to them yesterday and was told that no more would be available for 4-6 weeks. Hope yours arrives soon!

I wish Cruzerlite made the Androidify design for the Moto X-14 like I had on my Droid RAZR HD MAXX. The clear version would be mostly not frosted with just a frosted Andy popping up from the side, unlike the Bugdroid design they have which is mostly frosted.

No joy. I called them today to see what happened. Apparently their system allowed some orders. I was told next week they should have some available. It's not guarantee that they will have them however.

Not sure if this case has already been mentioned, but I stopped at my local VZW store yesterday, and they had a Case with a clear back (not frosted at all) with a black TPU bumper. Sadly I didnt get a picture, but I did test fit it, and it was quite clear on the back, for those looking for a case that still (mostly) shows of your custom design.

I got the SUPCASE FrostClear/black case today and it is great! It provides good grip if you have problems with your hands slipping on the metal sides like I did. I got a Cruserlite Bugdroid case, the fit is good but the protection is meh. It's definitely a unique looking case. The case is thinner than I expected. I'll probably be getting a different one. I can't post a link because I don't have enough posts, but type "Cruserlite Bugdroid" into Amazon's search bar and it will come up.

I got the Supcase Beetle Frost Clear case. It looks pretty good and has a great grip. However, I would advise a screen protector as well to achieve total piece of mind with this case.

I'd just picked up clear back TPU case + screen protector + charger from Verizone store for my AT&T Moto X (2nd Gen). The bundle cost me $50 + tax. The case is awesome with clear and curved back, which fits perfectly with the phone. At the front, it gives a little lip to protect from surface scratching. TPU side is good enough for normal wear, not much grip though. TPU also covers buttons, but there's no texture for wake-up button.
Associate at store applied screen protector for me! You get 3 protectors, 2 cloths and 1 smoother card.
I'm satisfied with this protection for my phone so far and I'll highly recommend it to anyone else who's looking for similar kind of protection.
