Just a security update apparently. Couldn't find any other notes on it on Verizon website.

Re: March 1 System Update

I received it this morning as well.

Re: March 1 System Update

Guess we'll have to wait on Verizon to update their page on the Moto z force regarding this system update

Re: March 1 System Update

Mine's downloading but it's been stuck at 50% for almost an hour now. Don't know what to do. Will it eventually finish, or fail, or should I reboot and try later?

Re: March 1 System Update

It's the Feb 1, 2017 security patch.

I wonder if this might have had another component since Assitant, at least the alpha, didn't work with Moto Voice. Could just be a coincidence the update arrived in the morning then Assistant started rolling out.

Could clarify Assistant not working with Moto Voice?

Could clarify Assistant not working with Moto Voice?

When Assitant briefly worked on the Search alpha using the launch phrase would pretty much lock the phone up.
The nav bar would change and it would do nothing else. IIRC when I disabled Moto Voice and went through the Google app voice commands worked. I only had it a few hours before they killed it.

Functioning the same as before for me.

After this update my battery has been dropping 5% an hour. Awesome.

are you on Wi-Fi or your Data plan? I notice on my Verizon data I can get between 36 to 48 hrs on a full charge. Wi-Fi is half that..... I now leave it on my data plan unless at home and will be charging it every night.

Mine as well. Usually could last almost 2 days if need be, now almost dead after 10 hours with same usage. Gonna stop into Verizon tonight but I'm sure they won't be able to do anything.

My phone isn't performing as it used to either since I installed the Feb update on March 3rd. I used to average about 3.5 minutes of SOT per % battery, now I'm down to around 2.2 minutes/%. I don't have google assistant set up on purpose. I can't really see any other app that's going rouge. Android System and OS are right up there with screen though in my battery stats. Considering doing a cache wipe.
