Nexus 4 Ordered on November 27: Order Status and Tracking

Gonna go back to iPhone and wait for a ios6 jailbreak if this doesn't get resolved this week, as in, phone in hand. This is lame motherfracking bull.
 
I have been following the thread at XDA since day one and I am now seeing the exact thing happening here no difference.
Well, there's also been quite a ruckus about getting topics trending on twitter whatnot to make the fiasco more public. As somebody here mentioned earlier, sometimes it sounds over their like they're about to grab pitchforks.
 
she told me that UPS normally asks for a 24 business hour window for shipment scans but has asked for a 72 business hour window (due to holiday rush, short of help, whatever.) For people who received a shipment notice on 11/30, that 72 business hours would expire tonight, so hopefully by tomorrow we receive update
Math doesn't work here. Most of us here received shipping emails between 4 and 6am on Friday, Nov30. 72 hours of business days expired early this morning. BYoD is still strong.

Twitter would be a great idea but I have to imagine a phone shipment snafu won't get as much play as anti-healthcare pizza and anti-gay chicken.

Upon receiving your shipping confirmation email, you'll be given a UPS tracking number that will assist you in determining your package's estimated delivery date. You can track your UPS delivery by providing this tracking number at:

Ok, this interesting. I ordered on the 27th, just before 6 PM CST, within the 2-3week block. If I check my Google Play account, under "my orders", it shows my order for a Nexus 4. At first it showed the date as Nov 27, then Dec 2, and now Dec 5. HOWEVER, if I click on that item it takes me to Google Wallet, and shows the details of the transaction, which it still has listed as Nov. 27.

ALSO, I have had a pending CC charge from Google since the 27th. As of today, I still have that pending charge, plus another pending charge that got posted today for the same amount.

Any ideas?
 
It's pretty obvious what is happening here. There is one printer in the shipping warehouse. The shipping clerk is picking up the labels from the printer. The 1-2 weekers labels printed first and are on the bottom of the pile. As new orders are taken/printing labels printed, they end up on top of the labels that were printed previously. This puts the 1-2 weekers labels on the bottom and more recent orders on top. Sorry 1-2 weekers, you will get your phones as soon as all orders have shipped. As for me a 2-3 weeker, I will be receiving mine tomorrow. Someone ask the shipping clerk to flip the pile of labels over so the first order taken can get their phone shipped to them.

This is no way helpful. We already having confirmations...ughh google get your s together!!!
 
Gave the GP store another call about my in limbo 1-2 week order. Same run around as yesterday, they basically have no idea what's going on from what I can tell.

They're also unable to cancel my order at this point, even though they're claiming that it hasn't really shipped out.
 
i've had this experience before with USPS. but even though they didn't update their status, they still delivered on time. google nexus 4 and usps charged us 14$ for UPS second day air and it's already late on delivery. this is a hustle!

That isn't happening with me... my email said that it was shipped on 12/1 ... today is 12/5. They missed their 2 day window.
 
I'm a 2-3 weeker and I've still got nothing. No UPS tracker. Nothing, it just says that I ordered a 16gb on Nov. 27.
 
Anyone actually heard back from one of these so called 'specialists' that are getting assigned to us by the Google Play store employees? I've been assigned to 3 of them now over the past 2 days and haven't heard shiet
 
I have a ticket open with Google... This is my latest response...

"Thanks for your patience. Our specialists are currently conducting a thorough investigation with our shipping provider regarding the issue you've reported. I apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update as soon as I have information to provide."

A "specialist" has been assigned, but after 36 hours, I have not heard anything from said specialist.
 
1-2 week order here, Got shipping info on Nov 30th 4 AM , charged on Dec 1st

Called Google Play just know. Below is the summary of the call
1. Google has sent out Devices to UPS and they have not been scanned yet by UPS due to unknown reasons
2. You should expect the phone to be delivered by end of business week. Else call us back
3. Submitted a request to refund 2 day shipping charges
 
I love the CSR quoting the email as if it was infallible: "Orders are shipped based on the estimate in your order confirmation email. "

While conveniently ignoring the first line from the all-knowing email: "You've made a purchase on Google Play. You will not be charged until your order has shipped."

I know my card was officially charged on 11/30, and tracking is stuck on the yellow box at ups.com
