The Galaxy Nexus is now showing as shipping in 3-5 business days in the Play Store.

That's got to mean the Jelly Bean OTA will be out, at the most in the next 3-5 days then.

Just that many people aren't getting it from what I've read in the threads. Of course you can just flash it, though. Just some people don't wanna go through restoring gigs and gigs of data.

Oh, they always do OTAs in waves to save their servers. My Nexus order status (from july 8) hasn't changed yet. It still just says "sent to google." But the Play store page for new orders says "in stock" and DELIVERED (not just shipped) in 3-5 days so I'm hoping I will get mine shipped tomorrow and get it Monday.

Yeah. That's what I meant. The Play Store page updated to 3-5 days today. When I looked about an hour ago it was still 1-2 weeks. I'm sure that those that already ordered will get a shipping notification soon.

This is so frustrating, I am about to cancel my order.

I've only seen 2 people claiming to have received it.

Lots of forums are full of people who have gotten it. This forum only has a small number of people who post in this section compared to other places. I'm not going to link to other forums on this one since it would be disrespectful. But you can easily find them with a search.

Anyone gotten shipping notification from an order placed during the ban?

The play store told me on the phone that it could take through next week before they ship all the backed up orders.

I haven't seen even one person on any of the several forums I monitor who say they've gotten a shipping notification unfortunately. Most of us should have gotten ours shipped by now since yesterday they changed the device status to in stock and a delivery date of 3-5 days. With 2-day shipping that means that people who ordered yesterday would have theirs shipped today. If that's the case, then all the back-orders should have already been shipped by now. Hopefully, we'll get notices tonight, but it really should have happened already or Google should not have changed the delivery time for new orders yesterday to 3-5 days. Anyway, I hope we get notified tonight (sometimes they send notices after midnight from what others have said) - I hope the 3-5 days was only put up one day too early and not several days or a week prematurely.

I ordered the same day. But I couldn't pull a ship date out of them. He just told me it should ship by the end of next week. He did say he *thought* that they started shipping back orders yesterday.

When I asked about how the delivery times for new orders could possibly be 3-5 days if it will take that long to ship back orders, there was no answer. I was nice enough about it, as was he. But I'm disappointed they advertise what seems like immediate shipment of new orders, but the back orders seem to take so long.

I placed my order on July 3 before the status of the phone went from "In Stock, Delivered in 3-5 business days" to "Coming Soon".

I have yet to receive any shipping information. I have called them three times and emailed numerous times. I can't even get them to reply. When I called on July 9, they said they were going to elevate my case to a specialist. That was four days ago and I haven't heard a thing from them, even with three follow-up email messages.

This is beyond frustrating.

I suspect that is the case as well. However, some sort of courtesy email from Google stating that fact instead of repeatedly ignoring my requests for information would go along way in customer service.

I am beginning to wonder how effective a quick email to Larry Page or Eric Schmidt might help answer my inquiries.
