Verizon Galaxy S8 No longer auto connecting to Wifi

Phone is S8+. Plan is through Xfinity.

After seeing a significant spike in data use on our last cell phone carrier bill, my wife (she has the S8) and I noticed that our phones are no longer automatically connecting to Wifi when returning to our house.

We checked the appropriate Settings and everything that is needs to be enabled to have automatic Wifi reconnection happen is checked.

Could an outdated app such as Wifi Lock Advanced Free be conflicting with the OS?

Anyone else experiencing this? Our firmware is up to date. Security patch level is dated 1/1/20.
