I checked Smart Switch and update was available and installed. Still gives message not supported. Is that going to stay there?

Sweet...usually smart switch is slow , no it should go away

Yes , you can flash unlocked to carrier or carrier to unlocked...just use Odin 3.13.1 prince comsey
