That is impressive. Do you have bluetooth, wi-fi, and NFC on? Do you also have an S-view case or just a regular case?

You know what is something interesting I would like to see? A test using UPSM only from 100% and see how long that will take to drain the battery with average use.

Wi-Fi is ALWAYS on, especially since my T-Mobile signal is weak to non-existent in my condo.
NFC is ALWAYS off.
Rocking the Note 4 naked while I wait for my Samsung (Protective, not S-View) case to arrive on Thursday.
Bluetooth normally off, I turn it on manually when I get in the car and also when I am at the gym.
Wi-Fi is ALWAYS on, especially since my T-Mobile signal is weak to non-existent in my condo.
NFC is ALWAYS off.

So I originally posted this first picture. Of 6h+ screen time with 20h+ total time. Until today. I installed Nova prime. I used to love it so much. But after this I immediately uninstalled it. My use was the same as the day before. No gaming no videos. Same cell reception. Just a warning to anyone else. Or if someone can give their usage with Nova. I literally didn't add any other apps etc. Just Nova, Nova prime, and the Nova notifications plugin to show the little red numbers on the corner of emails, text messages, etc.

New stats w/ Nova: 7h44m total, and 3h screen time at 30% left.
Old stats w/o Nova: 20h total, 6h10m screen time at 5%

Maybe that's the thing under Settings/Controls/Motions and Gestures/Smart Alert? Except I have mine on and don't have any of those wake locks. Have never seen that before. I'd say go through settings and turn off all the different features, like staying on while you look at it etc. And test and turn them on one by one to find the culprit

Hey maybe a stupid question but I'm a noob is it better when new to let the battery completely drain before charging?? what charging process would you use to optimize battery life?

I'll see what I'm getting with the stock battery But from my experience I am getting battery life over my Note 3. .
However I can barely get through the day without having to charge. And that's with normal use without any heavy gaming. If I do any gaming then I'll have to charge 2-3 times during the day
To say the least I'm waiting for the zerolemon extended battery and case

A lot of podcast listening. Mostly all day. Downloaded a few podcasts. On Wifi most of the day. About a hour and a half on phone calls. A little balancing of the checkbook. In and out the AC app. Some browsing. Been pretty heavy use since I got it. Just can't put it down.

I can't post pics as well due to being a new member. I've been an iPhone user since day one. I decided to make the leap to the note 4 instead of the 6 plus. So far I'm loving this phone, but my battery life is pretty bad. I'm on ATT if that matters. My Android system never drops below 30%. Could that be my issue?

For your second question I've heard just charge whenever you need to. But it's best not to let the battery drop all the way to 0 all the time. But what I've read

I can't really complain about the battery life. Last night I watched Grease on my phone via Netflix and only lost about 8%. Now that is saying something in my opinion. I gotta say I love the extra battery kit tho. Thanks dpham!

Sorry, I'm new to the Android platform. When you use Art runtime do you still get app and system updates?
