Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I'll say it right now there is no denying the Note 5 is better smartphone then the iPhone 6SS Plus. It's if you buy into that ecosystem or not.

There are many features on the Note. I'm going to get accustomed to them and use them. Like how convenient is it to take a selfie with my kids last night and just say "smile" and takes a pic lol.

iMessage will be be big for me. Face time I don't use alot. My iPhone sold with Apple Care Plus within 1hr of being listed. Took the cash and bought the Note 5 64GB with Asurion insurance about 30 min later for $1050 tax in. Lost about $200 in the process all together. Not bad.

Well you can learn about your Note 5 here and also as a bonus, learn our peer pressure techniques and how to apply them to all the iPhone users in your life to make them jump over to Android.

Well you are done now, you can't switch back at this point, even if you want. You are switched strictly on principle if for no other reason now lol

And my principle is for me to have the smartphone that I want and not own a certain smartphone because it's what other people have or like. When I think in those terms, the Note 5 is the clear winner. It's the smartphone I enjoy to use the most. It's the smartphone, in my opinion, that doesn't have to be complemented. It's always the smartphone I research the most. And that's why I choose it every year.

Are you happy with your decision?

As of right now yes. Gonna miss the ios integration. Just that you can do so much more on the Note 5 overall.

1) already like the fingerprint scanner. iPhone was way too fast. I wouldn't be able to even see the lockscreen at all.
2) screen is just awesome
3) form factor and lighter. Big difference in size and weight coming from the 6S Plus.
4) make my homescreen look the way I want.
5) my Gmail plays much nicer obviously.
6) pictures have better pop.

The list can go on and on. Way too many things to list.

Interesting thing, my sister got the iPhone when it came out, I played with it a lot. When it came time for me, Android was out and I got a great intro at T-Mobile and I couldn't see spending that much more for the iPhone. I didn't even know what my phone could do when I owned the first Android, but as my choice in my OS matured, it bypassed my sister's OS.

I know tell her no worries, everyone can't be a rocket scientist and everyone can't understand Android and Apple is there for those that can't understand Android lol

The display on this is a major deal. Many Note 4 owners don't think it is really that different than the Note 4, but there are some me little difference that make a a huge difference. After using my Note 5 for a couple of weeks and picking up my Note 4 again, the difference was extremely obvious.

I too like the fingerprint scanner better than on the iPhone 6S. I have read so many reviews indicating Touch ID is heads above the competition. I don't see that at all. It's not super fast to me, it's more defective in my opinion. Bypassing the homescreen with just a touch of the home button sounds like it is broken to me.

The thing I noticed was that the auto brightness worked better on the Note 5.
It is smooth in detecting the level it needs to output and works great in bright sunlight.

Yes, most definitely. It is the only Samsung I have owned that I have used the auto brightness on, in fact.

I'm performing my weekly check-in, to see what doctordwaynewilliams is doing :)

Fortunately I'm doing the same thing I was doing last week and that's rocking my Note 5. Going very strong now. I did order my FREE Galaxy tab s2 thanks to Kelly Kearns. It should be here soon.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

Well don't post in this thread unless you want people to talk you into getting it. We believe in peer pressure here lol

Too late lol. The peer pressure got to me lol. Didn't get the Note 5 though since I had it already. Went and got the S6 Edge Plus.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

Day started off bad. Said good morning to the wife at 7am from work. Her reply "Hate when your texts are green *****". Got better through the day and she didn't talk about it again. Had a blast on the first full day with the Note in a while. Was a pleasure to use other then I had to charge up at 3pm. Lots of usage today for sure.

Don't worry about it she will get used to it. It happens to me from time to time.
