Agreed, but still will not stop overstated claims of miracle level battery life. SOT with heavy use, ten hours! Heavy use being browsing

Yea but when imnworking out side doing lawn c are it's impossible to see the screen so it's gotta be turned up what else can I do ? My s8+ worked fine in the sun light

So my max has been 7hrs and today my low was 6hr 20 mins.. Maxed out display resolution

Other big factors often rarely stated in these threads are display BRIGHTNESS, and network signal strength (or being on Wifi). Other than runaway apps usually these are the 2 biggest factors in battery life.

I wonder how bright or dim these screens are on average for these long SOT cases. If "auto-brightness" is on, then I wonder how dim the normal environment is (i.e with Auto brightness on you won't get the same SOT outside in the sun as you would inside in a dimmer room under the same other conditions.). There are lots of factors at play of course , but with just about all of my past phones brightness and signal made more of a difference than any other factor.

It seems my battery life is not as good as it was the first few days. Last night it was nearly at 100%.. Watched a few YouTube videos went to sleep. This morning it's around 63%. As I type this it's at 57%. As I said the first 5 days it was awesome buy now it's not so great. What gives??

So far battery has been 10-20% better compared to s8+. Same settngs same apps same everything.
This morning I noticed a lower battery drop from the start, what I did different was wireless charge. I noticed my s8+ was suffering battery and I charged it overnight with the wireless charger. If my battery on N8 is under 50% today after my work day than that may be of concern and I'll go back to wired charging.

I was one of the lucky ones to be able to get my note 8 already. I received it yesterday, today is the first real test of using it on a daily basis, Had the phone on the charger until I left the house Around 10:30 this morning and it is now only 5:41 p.m. and my battery life is all the way down to 36%. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get the battery life to last longer, I already have everything turned down not running 4k or having the screen brightness all the way up... I think I might be sending this back faster than it came, even though I got it 10 days early lol

I left my London hotel this morning around 5:30 a.m. Note 8 at 100%. Now it's just past 4 p.m. in Dublin and I have been using the phone all day. My battery right now is at 75%.
