Note10+ fingerprint sensor slow as hell!

The FPS does pretty much suck. I was ready to throw my phone today while trying to use Samsung pay at a couple of different stores.

If your thumb is big, fat, greasy and sweaty it will work just fine, clean dry hands, fuhgeddaboudit :-\

Easy remedy, put your thumb on the table and use a hammer
Instant log in !

It has its moments...lol. I kind of feel about it same way as I feel about my dog. The FPS has me trained on how to use it properly same as my dog has trained me in how to treat her properly.

Sounds like Samsung should of waited a year to make it better. I don't ever remember having a phone with fingerprint sensitivity workarounds.

Yeah, it sucks compared to "old" technology. My Note 9 FPS was world's better.
This is the problem.

Too bad they can't put both. LOL

When this "new" technology came out I knew wouldn't be perfect. No need to complain.

I hate PIN, Pattern, In-Display FPS, etc. that I use just Face Unlock. Why I love Apple's FaceID.

I'm not too fussy about security. I just want the fastest way to unlock.

With the "S-pen" once you pull it out click the button
That doesnt sound secure. I mean I'm not one to be too concerned about what's on my device, but if one can open the device with the Spen doesn't seem to secure if someone catches on.

Need to set it up though

Yes. It works. The only issue I have with this method is security. If you lose your phone or it is stolen, somebody can just unlock it using this method. Just pull out the S Pen and click the button. Voila! Unlocked phone.

There is always a trade off between convenience and security. The most secure methods are the most inconvenient and the most convenient methods are the least secure.

You're not too fussy period, the way you switch phones....lol

Too slow also....would be easier to use a pin or pattern.

I use both PIN and fingerprint.

I disabled the unlock with S Pen function. I'd rather be slightly inconvenienced and feel a little more secure. Also, I have smart unlock enabled for certain devices. If my phone is stolen or if I lose it and is too far away from one those devices then it requires either the PIN or fingerprint.

That's just it....using the Spen seems inconvenient or am I missing something?
