Hey, sorry to be a pain. im getting an error when installing the samsung drivers. says Error 1316.A Network error occurred while attempting to read the file. Im not sure what to do from, again sorry for all the questions, but appreciate all the help

ive never heard of that, reboot the computer and try again

He's up and running with 2.6.

Can't tell you if it was the desktop, the drivers, or the package. We moved over to a laptop, installed the drivers, downloaded 2.6 and odin, and we're working. He's going to run it for a couple days before making the move to 2.8, and we figure that 2.9 will be out by then and he can load the no wipe version too.

All in all, another phone moved over to the dark side.

If the reboot doesn't take care of it, try and uninstall and then reinstall the drivers. After the uninstall, reboot, and then reinstall. Make sure that you're using the correct 32 or 64 bit drivers.

The error is related to installing when the previous version is not installed right, or has not been uninstalled before reinstalling.

plug your phone in , pull down the notification bar, hit USB connected, choose mount,

from your computer, go to start on the task bar, hit computer pick the new drive that is added, that is your sd card , you can copy and past the zip file int there

Ok. Thank you. I couldn't mount the phone before when I had DL30. But I had update.zip on my sd card from when I went to DL30, so I figured it was the same one, and just successfully completed the jump from DL30 to EB01. I rebooted the phone and plugged in the USB to the phone, and it mounts. I figured this was the way to install files to the sd card, but I thought there was another way if I couldn't mount. But since I can now mount, problem solved.

Ok sounds like a plan, Ive noticed that the download is for 32bit, Im running Windows 7 64bit. i will go ahead and uninstall and reboot, Where can i download the 64 bit driver? again I thank you for your help!!

alright, ill wait out the download, get some sleep and finish it up tomorrow. I know if i do it tonight Ill be up all night downloading apps and getting it right,lol. from what ive been reading adding a theme is pretty easy to do? i need to find a nice one and maybe toss that on tomorrow too. Im going to be addicted to this i know it

my connection at work is DSL it takes about 25 mins,,, here at my house i have cable connection it takes 7 mins,, just for reference
