[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

thanks for the quick reply.
Just did a removal of the old backup and did a new one. Really thinking of going to the the new superclean 2.9. Just have to look at the advantages over what I have now. I am the type that has to have everything new, right now. Otherwise I wouldnt have gotten the fascinate the day it came out.

so I updated from 2.6 to 2.9 but now my phone will reboot for no reason.or it get a black screen amy idea?

Ok it's done now i'll let you know 2 moro how the phone act's after the day of use thanks you rock!:)

I'm having the same black screen issue as well where I have to take out the battery to get it back on.

I tried going to stock Froyo and back to 2.9 and still having the issue.

I originally went from 2.1 to 2.9 (full wipe) and am having the issue without downloading any apps. (Wanted to make sure it was an app issue.)

Someone earlier posted that deleting the google enhanced search will fix FC and rebooting. (Worked for me as I was having massive FC and it would reboot after a few.)

I am still having the black screen though.

Love it! Followed the directions and it worked perfectly. A couple questions though...

1) How can I delete the unwanted apps. I love that all the Verizon stuff is gone but I'd like to remove more. Can I?

2) How can I re-arrange the layout of the apps on the app screen (not the home pages but in the apps section)?

Thanks!!

Not sure about the black screen, but the random reboots is a result of the music controls that were added into the 5 lock screens modification. Just download the 2.9.1 patch from the first post in Adrynalyne's superclean thread and flash it through cwm:

1) You can. How you delete them depends on what apps you want to get rid of

2) You can't rearrange the apps in the app drawer with the AOSP launcher that comes with superclean. I think you can customize the layout of the apps in the app drawer with ADW launcher.

Well, OK. So here goes what may be a sacrilegious question but is it possible to install TouchWiz onto this build? I actually liked TouchWiz.

I think adrynalyne has a patch for that in the super clean thread. bottom of first post..id make sure but I'm in the lab

this is not a rooting process, it just happens to include root permissions

this will completely over write your operating system and will wipe any apps and data you have,,,, you can update using this method but you should back up your apps and data

I am having some issues trying to upgrade to SC 2.9. I can't get the damn sumsung drivers to install on my laptop, so I can't hold vol/power buttons to go to the manual download screen (that's without the battery in it). Any advice to fix this?
