[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

so if i'm running EB16SC29_DXC.tar then i can flash EC10SC292x_DXC.tar via odin and all the apps i restored from backup will still be there?
I just did it.. working great so far and it didn't wipe anything. I didn't have to do any restoring.

I have been running 2.9.1 for a week now. Last night I was trying to clean out my gallery. So I started deleting pictures and they would just move around in the gallery but not delete. So i hit the back button and the phone locked up. Had to pull the battery after 10 + minutes and now phone is randomly rebooting , locking up, and being very twitchy ( scrolling not smooth ) In both android launcher and Launcher pro. Any thoughts? I haven't installed or deleted any apps or files, Just tried to delete some pics from the gallery ????

I also flashed the nonvodoo, but I have a vodoo file on my sd? Can I delete this?

Was this issue resolved? If I delete a picture in my gallery it will go away. I will then hit the back button, then go back into gallery and the picture is there again but it looks really grainy when selected. Why isnt it being deleted completely?

I rooted and flashed my Fascinate to froyo, EB01, and now when I'm on a call and take the phone away from my ear and the display turns on, my caller and I both hear a high-pitched buzz!! This never happened before I rooted and flashed. Any idea why this happens now and how I can fix it?

I don't have that issue but I've read that it's an issue with the proximity sensor. It happens when you pull away or when your near your ear. Once it senses your close enough it gets quiet. So far I havent seen a fix for it. Im not an experienced flasher but I would reflash my phone if it did that.

Iam in the process of rooting and on step 10 on the first page. I have odin up and I pressed and held the vol. down key til the yellow triangle appeared on my phone. but now the yellow box will not appears in odin..... thanks in advance

Did you download and install the drivers to your computer?

yes but when I plugged the usb cord in it said something needing to download driver software.... can I unplug my phone? the screen is blank now. Thanks for the help

Can I put the battery back in or should I wait?

did you go over all the trouble shooting tips in post #4? If you never got odin to flash at all then of course its ok to pop your battery back in.

this is a froyo bug there is no solution, it does not happen to everyone evertime, try flashing superclean 2.9.2 since you are already on froyo

After you download the drivers you need to double click on the file that was downloaded to install the drivers. Then when you plug your phone into your computer, it will complete the install process so your computer will recognize your phone.

I dont know, haha. I went back and watched the samsung driver how to video that you told me to check out a while back ago. I hadnt extracted the driver file, just extracted it hope thats the reason it wouldnt work.... bout to try the root process again..... Thank God you and Landshark are here

Is usb debugging checked under menu=>settings=>applications=>development? If it is reboot the phone while debugging is on and the phone is connected to the computer via the usb cable.

+1 put it in debugging mode so it can set up the drivers and adb connection
wait a couple mins, it will usually have a pop up telling you the device is ready, then pull the battery and try to connect in download mode

Are you still hard bricked or did you resolve it and just not update your siggy?
