Are you still hard bricked or did you resolve it and just not update your siggy?
Hard bricked is hard bricked , unless i get a flashing tool or send it to sammy its a paperweight. The bootloader is gone so it wont go into download mode or anything

Is usb debugging checked under menu=>settings=>applications=>development? If it is reboot the phone while debugging is on and the phone is connected to the computer via the usb cable.
Phone is in debugging, rebooted phone twice and when I do something shows up in the cd drivethen goes away. Do you think my computer is screwed up?
now open odin
remove your battery
plug your phone in and press down till u enter download mode
see if odin see's it now
make sure you download the correct drive for your computer 32 or 64, then dbl click and run it and it should install for you
the drivers i provide should be compatible with both i think otherwise there is another set but its for the epic
@Fandango, do you know how to tell what type of system you are running 32 or 64bit?
64 bit...... I went back and read your post on installing the drivers to the C drive so I might have it....
I used odin to flash EB16SC29_DXC.tar today, but damn.. my battery life is terrible.
try these if that doesnt work or if what Bri's suggestion doesnt help
1. Download and Install Samsung Drivers
64bit: Drivers HERE
Ok I replaced the driver I had with that one. I think I extracted it to the C drive. My phone is plugged in, its in debugging mode.... Iam I missing something?
does the drivers look like this, and when you double click it does the run window pop up?
![]()
then afer that does it tell you to install or repair
![]()
when i click on it it ask to open or save... Could winrar mess it up?
Download and install HERE
as soon as its done downloading hit RUN then hit RUN again
another window will pop up that either says repair or install,
if install option is there select it and keep going otherwise hit repair
thanks, I installed it... should I proceed with the root?
