I was already running super clen version, and i used ordin to flash rom, i upgraded from stock to rooted then to EBO1_DXC.tar to EB16SC26x_DXC.tar and now thats where im at and my phone keeps not letting me unlock after it goes to sleep the screen just stays black:-[

Did you ever solve your Sleep of Death issue? I am also have this issue. It seems to happen with any ROM that is deodexed. If I run EB01_DCX.tar, everything is fine. As soon as I install any SC, I get the Sleep of Death (or Black Screen of Death). A battery pull is the only way out with that happens.

Last night I installed SC 2.9.3 with EC10 and BOOM, same problem. No apps, not themes.

So here is a question, If I have a phone that is still run stock VZ eclair, what is the best way to get to 2.9.2? The phone isn't currently rooted either. There is so much in here and I can't seem to find the answer if it already exists. Thanks in advance for your help, you all do amazing work here!

Also read all the stickies on rooting, using clockwork mode, etc. read read read! and ask any questions you might have!

That's the new clockwork file, you need to flash that via odin first then put the 2.9.2 file on your SD card and flash in recovery

because the kernel was kicking off cwm when you first start the phone, which doesnt allow for the wipe to happen, which causes force close loop,,,,now i dont have a phone anymore to do anymore testing so .....thats that

just flash 2.9 then flash 2.9.2

Alright I just followed all the steps in this tutorial. Once the device was connected and recognized by odin, odin showed two yellow boxes in the upper left. Not just one like was showed in the tutorial. Then after the process completed, the first box turned green and the second stayed yellow. Odin also gave a message < All threads complete > ( succeed 1, failed 1 ).

Is this something to be concerned about, and if so how do I correct it.

it means you have more then one device hooked up to the computer maybe a printer or an ipod,,,,did the flash work on the phone?

Process...

Dl01 odin, boot
2.9 odin, boot to recovery
Flash 2.9.2 voodoo, enable lag fix, boot (and hear lady android)
Change settings (put on silent mode or change unlock screen for example)
Reboot and settings are back to default (volume mode is back on and back to slide the screen)

Plus. I can't get it to recognize my phone when I plug it up to my computer.
