[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

So I installed this without putting update.zip on my card...
It installed fine and I've been playing around and nothing seems amiss...
Should I be worried?

First off welcome to Android central..... no dont be worried, update.zip is so that you can use clockwork recovery that i preinstalled ... but if you dont know what clockwork is or dont need it then no worries my friend just enjoy

all odin flashes that im providing here have already been rooted and in the app drawer the root application manager has been installed. so there is nothing you need to do

lol oh man im glad this worked out for you , let me ask you when you were installing Cwm on ea28 were you booting directly into recovery after flashing and not letting boot at all,, and then replacing the kernel before you turned the phone on,,,thats most peoples problem int the last two builds

Yes, I found the tips about being sure to go directly into recovery.. Never worked for me.. I'd flash with odin, and hold down those vol buttons.. When I got the stock recovery, the update.zip would never pass signature verification.

Tried about 3 different cwm versions, being sure to use the update.zip's found with each.. Never once was I able to hit CWM.

Due to this, I was never able to try a different kernel.

Luckily though, this full odin package is what saved the day... After that, I was able to hit CWM any time I wanted..

So, I have gotten froggy after running the EB01 full version and I'm loading superclean. Never got past the Exchange issue using stock email, but Touchdown works great. Thanks to everyone for for the information. It has made me feel (too) confident that I load these at will and there will be help if I screw up. And a HUGE thanks to DXC and Adrynalyne for getting these ROMs and instructions up.

Flashed this, starts to run great and I get signed in and everything...but when I try and install and apps, it says I have no space. If I reboot the phone, my account is NOT saved and it asks me to sign back in to Google/Sync. In storage is says I have 0.00B/0.00B for Program storage. I've re-flashed it 3 times now, everything else works fine. Using EB01DB_DXC.tar

were you running voodoo in the past? this usually happens if it has not been disabled properly ..

the super clean 2.2 file extension is a .tar.rar which odin wont recognize. What should the extension be?

in the op i mentioned to unzip it....... this will give you a .tar.md5 file

if odin still does not recognize this , then downlo 7zip HERE
install that and then try odin again

I need a little clarification if you don't mind DXC. This is Froyo, 2.2 but with a 2.1 ROM somehow? I thought I understood that DI01, DJ05, DL09 were all 2.1 ROMs and that Dl30 and now EB01 were 2.2. Am I tracking right? because the dl09 in this is throwing me off on what I'm getting. Thanks for the help, sorry for the confusion.

Thanks. I misunderstood the zip. I thought you only meant the .zip file type, didn't realize the .tar.rar was another zip type. Thanks.
