I haven't been on in a few days so I'm trying to play catchup between this thread and Adryn's thread on SC2.5. Can someone explain (or point me in the right direction to) the difference between EB01 and EB16? I know it's a new build but I'm more looking for what has changed/is different/better.

Also, reading Adryn's SC2.5 thread and seeing EB16 is incorporated into the 2.5, I'm assuming sc 2.5 can be flashed via CWM over EB01/sc 2.4, correct? I just want to make sure I don't have to, or DO have to flash DXC's ODIN package for EB01/EB16 Sc2.5 in order to get the latest and greatest .

Quick noobie question... how do I turn off the Yahoo mail from auto polling mail and notifying me every 5 minutes?

you can, but it is recommended to flash back to DL09 or DI01 to start with a clean slate, then flash sc 2.5

umm when i did the odin the left box didnt turn yellow? what happened?

I flashed over sc 2.4 with the 2.5 and it works great super fast and i flashed threw CMW red.

Thanks for the SC2.5 package! I had to install through Odin twice as I got succeed 1 / failed 1 the first time but so far so good.

go to your email and hit the menu button, then select more, then account settings. you can turn off notifications or change the time increments that your email is checked

yes i did i replugged it and it came up now but there was 2 blocks that were yellow

ive never had that happen. did you power down and pull the battery before you connected to pc?

this is done from recovery. hold the volume rocker and power button at the same time. keep holding until samsung logo comes up, keep holding until it disappears and when it reappears the second time let go. then you wipe data and reboot
