[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

the root worked and I've been using 2.2 now on my fascinate, but when I open the camera program, I get a message that says "the firmware is not latest. do you want to update now?" and if I choose no, it exits the camera program
if I choose "yes" what will happen? is there any way to get my camera to work?

settings>about phone>baseband and build number,,,please give me the numbers in those boxes
also when you did odin at the end did you see (successful 1/failed 0)
Just click yes and let it update, it will be fine
No i suggest doing computer reboot and check your security and pop up settings

I.want to install EB01 superclean 2.2 but I also want to use the touchwiz launcher. I saw there was a patch for the touchwiz launcher and widgets in adrynalyne's thread, but I didn't know if that was for EB01 or DL09, and if it is for EB01 I'm still not 100% on how to install it. Keep in mind I don't know what CWM, Clockwork, or ROM is. All I've been able to do so far is use Odin on my laptop to install a debloated version of EB01. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
Edit: Also, I read this walkthrough for Clockwork and I'm still clueless and confused.

Home sick today with bronchitis but I'm on the job and got your back.
i have 2 questions 1: does your Debloated/Deodexed Froyo still have touch wiz in it becuase i heard it made the phone laggy. 2: in your super clean version can u add individual things later like live wallpapers. i think it might be missing just a little to much for me. thanks

1. debloated, yes has touchwiz
2. you can add any wall paper you want, plus there is bunch already installed
try launcher pro its pretty awesome you can set it up for different screen transitions, you can set up how much memory the UI uses to make everything smoother. you can add or remove home screens change dock icons, add dock backgrounds,,tons of stuff that can be done i would try it and explore it

Ok mybffjill, good choice on sc 2.2 by the way. I am running that and my phone is incredible now. The TW patch in Adrynalyne's superclean thread will work with EB01. He has the DL30 & EB01 (Froyo or Android OS 2.2) material separate from the DL09 (Eclair or Android OS 2.1) material. Just plug your phone into your computer via usb cable with debugging enabled on your phone. After your phone connects, pull the notification bar down and click on connect usb. The notification bar will disappear and you will see a green Lloyd (the android droid) appear. Below him will be a grey box that says connect usb, click that and wait. Once your phone connects an auto play window should pop up on your computer. You can just close it because you don't need it to complete the download. Now on your computer go to the superclean thread and click on the TW patch, a download window should pop up, just click on save and save the zip file to the sd card on your phone. Now this is a zip file and touchwhiz should be an apk file within the zip I believe. Let me find the answer for sure. In the mean time you can do a little reading here at AC to become better versed. CWM and clockwork are the same thing. full name is ClockWorkMod, hence CWM. It is also referred to as recovery. A ROM is supeerclean 2.2. Adrynalyne took a kernel, combined it with a launcher and other programs and apps to create a ROM. You can do some reading in these links while I get you a definite answer on getting TW:

downloaded the debloated 2.2 twice and it gives me 333mb not the 345 that it says the file should be. Is this right or is there a mirror to download from. Thanks
Thanks for your timely suggestions... I'll go back to DI01 and then try your "Super Clean v2.1" instead of the v2.2 that I used previously. Sorry for confusing you by using the term "apps" and "Droid apps"... I meant "android marketplace apps" generically. It sounds like titanium backup will prevent me from having to reinstall all of my marketplace apps every time that I update the PDA's ROM/Operating System. Thanks Again! - Robert.

@idkmybffjill - I had the TW launcher pack on my phone, went into root explorer and saw that the TW launcher Adrynalyne has the patch for is TW launcher for DL30. I am not a fan of TW, now a devout follower of Launcher Pro because of how uncluttered my homescreens are and how cusomizable it is. I'm not sure if there would be an issue with using a DL30 TW launcher with EB01. I know there are more knowledgeable people than me in these forums, some of whom I think may use TW. So hopefully someone else can help you get TW on superclean 2.2. I could walk you through getting it up and running, I just don't want to take the chance on an incompatible build when I don't know the answer for sure.
after download i get 353,291KB which is 345.0107421875 megabytes so its what is says it should be, maybe someone would be so kind to put up a mirror
is there a option to take touch wiz off? id like to have no wiz but still live wallpapers. not sure if thats what u meant because you said any wallpaper i wanted but you did not say "live" so i wasn't sure. thanks
Voice Search / Voice Actions
Question for folks who have successfully installed these ROMs: are Google Voice Actions able to access your contacts correctly?
Some of us who installed "Debloaded/Deodexed" have found that we can no longer say "Text So-and-so..." or "Email so-and-so..." and have it correctly look up a person's name. It never puts any contact in the "to:" slot at all, even though the voice action otherwise executes properly. You can say "navigate to The Gap" and it will look up The Gap and figure it out properly, but it won't look up your contacts or ever produce one in response to a voice command.
I'm wondering if this is broken in all the ROMs, or just the one. Any feedback would be appreciated, and if you could list which ROM you're using, that'd be great.

Any luck? I am having the same sleep of death issue. Please let me know if going all the way back helped to correct this.
"All you have to do is download the deodexed stock ROM build, unzip it and put the touchwizlauncher30.apk file in the /system/app folder. You can do all this from root explorer."
I just got this response on the xda forums. I'm going to try it tonight when I get home. Does this sound like something that could work or am I being set up for failure?
