[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

I've gotten the WINRAR installed and have extracted the file and can see it in ODIN now.

Now I'm stuck in getting it back into download mode. I still have the icon I said above. The power button will not power the phone down. I took the battery out and it went black. I then plugged cable into top of phone, held the volume down button, and plugged USB into PC. I held the volume down button for about 10 seconds and nothing.

RIGHT CLICK AND SELECT EXTRACT HERE THE .rar file AFTER DOWNLOADING AND BEFORE USING -->EB01SC23_DXC.tar (Does not include boot animation so be patient while it loads)


i compressed it with winrar
Download WINRAR

then you will be able to see the downloaded file as EB01SC23_DXC.tar.rar then right click on it and select extract here

you are fine, just pull the battery , put it in download mode and start again

the battery is out the whole time correct,,,,, try this ,,,, unplugged, hold down the volume button and while still holding plug the phone in

if this does not work try with the battery in,,,,

try different USB ports in the back of the computer

Also get downloads from here , go to the software area and get the latest driver

No I meant I was kiteman 3 weeks ago. Being all excited at the possibility of upgrading my phone, but getting so excited I accidentally forgot my place or read too fast and skipped a step. Just think Kiteman, in just three short weeks with DXC's help you can be me here helping people with problems.

Sorry for the delay DroidXcon ... no, I can't flash anything at all through CWM.

2) I'll do some more research on this. Has to be some way to fix whatever I broke!

Update: FIXED IT! I was able to flash SC 2.4 from the .zip!

Here's what I did, in case some nugget of useful information comes of it (I don't really know what exactly fixed it)

- Flash back to DI01 again
- Rooted, applied old CWM green I used to go to DJ05
- Applied jt1134's magic "all ROMs" CWM Red from XDA
- Recovery loop occurred

- Flash EB01 SC 2.3 from DXc's ODIN package
- Boot straight into CWM after download mode by holding necessary buttons while re-inserting battery
- Execute "Fix Permissions" for the 1,000,000th time
- Wipe system/cache/dalvik for the 1,000,000th time
- Cross fingers and do the 2.4 update from .zip
- OMG, it actually flashed something

If I had to guess here, I think it may have either been going all the way back to that old 10MB CWM Green in conjunction with DI01 (not likely), then jumping right into CWM and executing the "Fix Permissions" before the phone booted at all (more likely)

Regardless, it worked, and I both appreciate the assistance along the way, as well as apologize for taking up space regarding this problem in this thread. I'm still going to use your ODIN version of SC 2.4 when it's ready, for some reason I just prefer it.

Both ways should work actually but already plugged in is better

I have tried several different ways to get Daily Briefing back and none of them has worked.

i have none of those things on my superclean, are you sure you flashed it correctly? or are you sure you didnt download something else.... are those in your app drawer?

can someone tell me what im doing wrong? i have 2.2.1 and root but not clockwork mod? In recovery I see samsung blue recovery. also I tried several times and it always takes about 3 mins. I changed usb ports and redownloaded the update to be sure. any ideas? any easy way to add clockwork mod?
