[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

And where did you hear it's too striped down. I love it. It gets rid of the verizon junk I won't ever use, and now my phone is rocking fast.

I just rooted to 2.4 superclean that wipes out all the data one and it seems everything working fine but when I go to the task manager I see the "Launcher" I end the task and when I come back to task manager I see it again. I was wondering is this "Launcher" thing supposed to stay like this? It take my Ram:21.95mb lol. This was my first time so please bare with me.

P.S.
And I think the battery is dying faster lol NE suggestion??

cool so i can add it back on and i can take advantage of the voodoo lag fix, audio, and etc etc?

There is voodoo, and there is a thread dedicated to how to go to voodoo, but my strong recommendation is beginning rooters get familiar with doing things in non-voodoo before attempting voodoo. It's like skipping past algebra to learn calculus or physics. They are both forms of math, just that one is a bit more advanced. Can you do it with some tutelage, sure? But you will undersand and appreciate it much more if you learn algebra first.

woot. this 2.4 is awesome. One last question :P

when I plugin the usb i dont get the usb mount screen as i used to on full EB01 package, how can i mount the card so i can transfer files to my sd card?

try putting it in debugging mode, then plug in,,,,hold down the power button till your boot options pop up and hit reboot and leave the phone connected as you are doing this

2.4 is awesome isn't it? Make sure to thank the hell out of Adrynalyne. We wouldn't have any of this without him. Hit the menu soft key, go settings=>applications=>development, and make sure usb debugging is checked, then when you attach the usb cable, you have to pull down the notification bar and click on usb connected. That will bring up the droid robot and there will be a grey box below him that says "connect usb storage" hit that and you will be able to transfer files. Also before you check the usb debugging box, make sure under usb settings that mass storage is chosen, and on your way to checking usb debugging make sure unknown sources is checked under applications.

you are going to
install from sd card>choose zip from sdcard > then you are selecting the whatever zip you were looking for

perhaps it was a bad download of the zip file, redownload and try again,,,
also go to "advanced" and fix permissions

Thank you so much for the quick replies and the help! That did the trick! Onelce again thanks and keep up the GREAT work!

launcher is your user interface, where your home screens are , and your widgets, your dialer, your app drawers etc, if your launcher isnt working then you pretty much have no way to use your phone

And here is you battery help:

Follow the battery life thread instructions about charging to 100%, power off and keep it charging til it hits 100% again, turn it back on, charge back to 100%.

Then power off, reset battery stats, and run your battery down to 5-7% off that single charge. Plug back in, and charge back to 100% (preferably with the phone off, like overnight).

Quick another newby question lol
When I go to the App list, I can only see apps vertical direction
I want to see as horizontal direction though.....

Boy, I'm actually so hooked on LauncherPro now I have to think abut that one. When you are in the app drawer, try hitting the menu soft key and see if there is an option in there for settings, then possibly display settings. I can tell you with absolute certaninty how to do it in LauncherPro, but I only used the launcher Adrynalyne has in superclean a few times.

Ok, so I was enjoying my Froyo and I decided to do a nandroid before I started flashing A new ROM. I am currently running Debloated/Deodexed Froyo Leak+root+Froyo Clockworkmod.

1. With power off I held down vol up/ down
2. Held power
3. Let "Samsung" flash twice then let go
4. Now in stock recovery I hit apply sdcard:update.zip
5. It goes to a white triangle with exclamation point
6. Is there a reason that I don't have CWM?

6. I've tried to pull the battery but when I power up it just goes back to stock recovery

select reboot
delete any and all update.zip on your sd card
on your computer go through the folder you are downloading to and delete any and all update.zip you have there
redownload update.zip from post #1
place it on your sdcard
restart and boot into blue recovery
select apply sdcard:update.zip by hitting the home button
this should now bring you into red recovery

my odin 1.3 cant open the rar file?????

RIGHT CLICK AND SELECT EXTRACT HERE THE .rar file AFTER DOWNLOADING AND BEFORE USING -->EB01SC23_DXC.tar (Does not include boot animation so be patient while it loads)

i compressed it with winrar
Download WINRAR

then you will be able to see the downloaded file as EB01SC23_DXC.tar.rar then right click on it and select extract here

you are fine, just pull the battery , put it in download mode and start again

I'm having some weird issues with 2.3 superclean. Followed the procedure outlined. My issues are:
-I can't get market to open. It gets stuck in *Loading.
-The Google updating icon is on continuously.
-5 minutes after booting, I start getting Force Close errors with Launcher. I seem to recall this is why I hated Launcher way back when, it never seemed to work right with the Fascinate. I'd love to get Launcher Pro on here instead.
-I had to just pull my battery and leave it off last night because something is causing it to intermittently vibrate every few seconds.
-Should my Clockwork be blue or red? Mine is blue.
