[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

When it says that it will wipe data? What type of data?
How can I backup my information? Is there a particular program? Thanks for the advice fellas.

Ok guys. it worked. excellent job. How do i access my backup files from titanium backup? Do i need to re-root my phone first?

no if this worked at all then you are already rooted

turn on unknown sources
settings>applications>unknown sources

turn on debugging mode
settings>applications>development>debugging

download and open titanium
hit the backup restore button at the top>hit the phones menu key>batch>restore missing apps + Data,,,, not system data

or you can just go to backup and restore and just select the particular apps you want to restore

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I plug it in to the computer just as described above. The phone resets, but when I run titanium backup...it's still showing I have not rooted the phone. PLEASE HELP!

Thanks for the quick reply!! I have to get this done before bed for my dad. I rooted my fascinate like around christmas with the one click root and it worked flawlessly but it would not work on this. So I found this website. I downloaded update.zip and put it on my phone files. I downloaded super clean version 2.1 and extracted the files. I downloaded ODIN. Then I did these steps:

I unpluged my phone and removed battery. I launched ODIN and then plugged the usb cable into my phone and held down the volume-down key. I then plugged the fascinate to my pc and when the yellow triangle came up I released the volume-down.

I clicked on PDA and chose EB01_DXC.tar.md5. It said FAIL!!!!!


So I restarted and tried it again. After 15 mins. It powered down. When I turned the phone on...NOTHING

What am I doing wrong?

Ok...I tried it again and now I am on a system recover screen and I have the options:

reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cashe partition

I'm not touching it until you tell me what to do.

And how do I select the right thing? I am assume volume up and down to scroll up and down, but not sure how to select.

First update your drivers HERE

Next disable any antivirus

Use USB ports in the back of the computer , if you already are change to a different port

EB01_DXC.tar.md5 is stock froyo not Superclean ...try 2.4 instead

try those steps and let me know if you have any luck
