More problems, wondering if anyone else has encountered these:
Running: stock 2.3.5
- Stock applications randomly closing. At first it was just the messaging app. I open it, the phone goes back to the homescreen. I can do this 4-5 times before it stays open. 1/2 the time I slide the puzzle piece over on the lock screen, it will open the message for 1-2 seconds before fading back to the homescreen again. Sometimes I am in the middle of typing and it goes back to the homescreen (the keyboard remains, but I'm typing on the homescreen, which does nothing). If I restart it goes away for a day or two, but then starts happening again. And yes, I've done a factory reset twice now.
Starting today, the dialer is doing the same thing. I had to make 2-3 attempts to make a call because the dialer kept closing before the call connecting.
-TW launcher force closing. It only happened for the first time today, but the phone was just sitting on the home screen (no apps running) and then the message came up. As soon as I force closed, a pdf I had downloaded a few days ago popped up. I hit the back button and was brought to quick office. Back again to the browser opening the page I downloaded the pdf on. Back again to the pdf. Back again to the dialer. Back again to call logs. Back again to dialer. Back to the calculator, and so on. I kept hitting back 20-30 times and never got to the homescreen, just kept going back to another application. I hit the home button and all my home screens were blank. I rebooted and that solved the issue, but that shouldn't happen, right?
-Text recipient error. I can no longer capture a new photo within the text app (after I hit "save" on the image, it brings me back to the app with no photo), so I just take a photo and share it from the camera preview. BUT if I text the photo and then respond to another text without closing the camera first, (even though I am in a different message thread entirely), the messaging app will pop back to the picture recipient and send it to them. I have figured out to shut down the camera app first, but that shouldn't happen anyway.
Everything else works fine but I'm just about to throw this thing out the window.
